Location was fantastic, and all the staff were really friendly too. The restaurant downstairs was absolutely lovely, would definitely recommend having a meal there whilst you stay. The room was super spacious, as was the balcony, it all looked exactly how it did in the photos. Honestly I can't believe how cheap this place is considering what you get, amazing value for money.

Only a couple downsides - the pool was very very cold. I think if we'd gone in peak summer when it's super hot this would have been fine though. I also find it very odd that you have to rent the bedsheets - I understand renting towels, maybe, but who would go to any accommodation and bring their own bedsheets? Even hostels give you bedsheets for free. The cost is really low, but I still think the accommodation would benefit from including the bedsheets in their initial price instead of charging for them when you arrive. I will say everything else was so good, and the price was so good, that this wouldn't put me off returning - it's still incredible value for money.

Clean and well located accommodation. The pool is a little small. The adjoining road is very noisy. The option of using facilities (although at an extra cost) in the salou campsite should be made more accessible and available to ancora residents. We had difficulty trying to explain that we had permission and had paid extra to the security guard at the campsite. He questioned us continuously at the entrance. Wristbands should be provided to allow better ease of access to the partner campsite.

The beds are so hard, not comfortable at all. The sofa was more comfortable, please review the mattresses. The back pain they caused was unbelievable.

Beautiful spacious apartment.clean. kitchen everything you need self catering wise.large fridge with reasonable freezer top. Balcony.2 bedroom apartment with both ensuite large shower .loo rolls and toilet brush . Nice pool clean and freshwater. Staff friendly,helpful and very accommodating. We paid for towels and bedsheets as not included they were all clean and fresh . Great location quick cab from reus airport €33 and €27 return trip for 4. Return cab booked by reception and secure luggage area if needed beforehand. 5/10 mins walk to beach and supermarkets etc . fabulous.

Would have liked a broom , dustpan and or mop in room . Just incase needed as bought bit sand in on shoes. That's all . Just for own tidying .

Lovely apartment with an excellent location close to everything, less than a 10 min walk to the beach. The apartment was spacious and the air con was brilliant. The pool was lovely and the staff friendly.

The bed was very uncomfortable. We didn't sleep well at all. I don't know if this was just our room (505) or not. You have to pay for towels and sheets which is unusual (I do hope they revise this policy at some stage) however we were well aware of this before we got there so it wasn't an issue. Our €100 deposit went back into our account without and problems.

The apartment was great! We stayed there for a month and enjoyed it the whole time. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything one might need for cooking. We worked from there and the wifi was reliable and high speed. We stayed in the "comfort" apartment, which was big enough for 2 people, but no more than that. Everything was close by on foot- laundromat, grocery´s, bus stop to Barcelona or other cities, the beach, etc.

The only bummer was that the balcony faced the main road and we couldn´t enjoy a nice evening on the balcony because of the noise. We could have asked for a room that doesn´t face the road, but I only learnt about that after the stay.

Great location, clean, modern, spacious apartments. Excellent aircon and large balconies, with two bathrooms in a two bedroom apartment. Nice small pool area with sunbeds and chairs, the shade disappears by about 15.30 hours in August. Harry Potter restaurant about 5 minutes down towards the Placa d-Europe is as good as it gets, good food, reasonable prices.

The beds are hard, like sleeping on bricks, not at all comfortable. Single pillow for each bed no more than 6 inches (15cm) high. The main road outside is extremely noisy 24/7, if you have a room overlooking the front of the apartment block, you won't sleep well. There's a lack of drawers for socks, underwear etc. The double glazing cuts out most of the noise in the living room, apartment 208 bedroom is very noisy all night long (lots of emergency vehicles too). Taberna was very busy daily, service was lousy, waited 20 minutes for service, went elsewhere. If you buy breakfast daily for all guests (16€ pppd) you can access the camping site next door (3 guests, 7 days =333€) which is well OTT if you want to go there once or twice in a week.

We stayed at this hotel for 12 days and it exceeded our expectations. Very new and clean apartments. Inside there was everything necessary for a long stay. There were even coffee makers, toasters, blenders, etc. in the kitchen. Ideal location, beautiful cozy pool surrounded by greenery. Very quiet inside the hotel, very polite staff, ready to help at any time. I would give it a 10, but there was one caveat. Read below). We rented bicycles directly at the hotel and it was convenient for cycling. I recommend it.

There is no washing machine in the room and there is no laundry service in the hotel. There are commercial laundry services nearby, but this is not very convenient when you need to wash one or two things, which often happens when you are on vacation at sea. I would definitely give this hotel a 10 out of 10 if it at least had a general laundry service for all guests. Well, of course, it is better to provide washing machines in the rooms.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location of the apartment was good for a family with kids. The pool was good and the was a pool for small kids also. Our daughter liked It was easy to walk to the supermarket, beach or bus stop. The breakfast was served at La Siesta Salou Resort & Camping (camping area) which was about a couple hundred meters from the appartment. We really liked the breakfast and especially the restaurant´s frying point where can order fried eggs, scrambled eggs and omelettes with different fillings.

I have nothing to complain.

The €100 deposit (which you can get back) is not clearly advertised before booking. I did know about the sheets and towels supplement plus city tax extra charges but if they were all made a little more clear up front then I think it would make a better experience (and help out the staff who I also witnessed having to explain extra charges to customers who weren't too impressed) I am a light sleeper - and my room was adjacent to 2 quite busy roads. Bring ear plugs if you are light sleeper.

I loved every aspect of the apartment it was clean spacious and well located - staff were friendly

The fact that there was no housekeeping as such - a change of towels would have been welcome. We disposed of our rubbish/trash and recycling ourselves quite happily. But towel change would have been a big one.
