Great room for our family of 4. Air-conditioned and cozy with high ceilings. The hotel lobby is beautiful. Free tea, coffee, biscuits and Orange wine for guests in breakfast area is a nice addition. Great location. Everything was a 10min walk away. Staff are always available at reception and were friendly and helpful.

Nothing. However, it is worth noting that it is a good idea to buy bottled water for your stay which you can put in mini fridge.

Kind staff, nice complete breakfast, big, cosy and clean room and bathroom, great location in the city center, everything even the train station is accessible by foot

Some info about events and attractions a little imprecise by one member of staff but he accepted my feedback so no complaint.

The room was comfortable and the AC rocked as it was high 90s/low 100s while we were here. We loved the historic interior of the hotel. All the staff was nice and helpful. I was unable to bring up my Alcazar tickets on my phone and reception printed them out for me after I forwarded my email. Although you had to be very careful when stepping out the front door because of traffic, the hotel was in a great location for exploring Sevilla. There was variety at breakfast though the presentation could have been a bit better, i.e. cutting up more of the fruit, tomatoes. A very enjoyable stay!

The washer/laundry facility was broken while we were there.

A very well run small hotel. Very professional helpful staff, with the desk managed 24/7. Our room was absolutely spotless. We enjoyed the decor of this traditional hotel in an original villa. We spent some time relaxing in the foyer. The adjacent breakfast room had coffee and tea available all day. The breakfast room had everything we required to start the day. Coffee pastries tortilla cheese meats fruit yogurt. The location was excellent being in the old quarter, with a great bar opposite, restaurants close by and a supermarket a few minutes walk away. All tourist sites were a manageable walk away.

Exiting the building was something to be done with care as there’s no footpath outside. It’s manageable and cars are not travelling fast.

The location of this hotel is excellent, walkable to all sights in the city centre. It’s in the old town, a maze of narrow atmospheric streets, so very good for a wander in the evening. The hotel has a beautiful covered central courtyard where you can sit and relax and enjoy their free drinks and eat your sandwiches. Breakfast was superb; I really don’t remember having better anywhere! Any food that was running low was immediately replenished by the staff and that doesn’t happen everywhere. Very helpful staff.

Our room was looking onto the very narrow road, so rather noisy, although in March you could sleep with the window closed. The room was smaller than we had expected for the grade of hotel, but is compensated for by the beautiful courtyard. The details said that air conditioning was provided, although there was none there- perhaps it is a portable unit brought in for the summer, although given the size of the room, I don’t know where they would put it!

Great location for visiting all the beautiful sights of Seville.... tucked in a little narrow street in the older part of town. ( you did have to check both ways for traffic as you stepped out of the front door,) The staff were very warm and welcoming and there to help with anything . Very good breakfasts which included dated , raisins and probiotic yogurt. Our room was nice with a v large comfortable bed. The shower was adequate. Everything was clean, though we did think that the decor needed a little updating. The lobby was very pretty with colourful tiles and comfortable chairs.

Loved the traditional Sevillian style, it’s very close to the tourist areas. Be careful when exiting the hotel as it’s on a busy road…plenty of shops, restaurants & bars…we ate breakfast in the hotel first morning it was ok other mornings we got coffees & that at a cafe further up from hotel it was very good…overall the hotel is excellent, reception staff are very informative, great customer service…would recommend this hotel to anyone as we had a great time & experience of Seville.

Hotel was absolutely charming in the authentic style of a typical Seville house with beautiful tile work, glass panelling , furnishings and wall decorations throughout. The internal patio by reception was perfect to sit and relax in and to be able look up and appreciate the beautiful balconies on the upper levels topped with the glass ceiling was special. Staff were excellent and breakfast at 10 Euros each was really good value. The hotel was 20 minute walk from main coach station and 10 minute stroll though the labyrinth of streets to Real Alcazar. Seville is one of a great cities to visit with the Plaza de Espana our favourite sight

Nothing to dislike

Charming and lovely, the staff were really nice and made us feel welcome. The location is great, in the city center, in one of the curious narrow streets that has traffic, but it's not noisy. They offer free coffee and orange wine for guests during the afternoon. The breakfast was quite good, at the first sight it looked a bit humble but actually there was a generous selection of sweet and savoury food, five or six types of coffee and different sorts of tea. We also enjoyed the little tavern accross the street, Las Aguilas. Maybe not on the list of the best tapas bars, but it should be! Very relaxed and cozy, with an awesome tomato salad, meat with tomatoes and grilled aubergine!

Since I tend to pick charming and lovely accommodations, I expect them to be a bit squeaky. Abanico does have the features of an older building - the doors, floors and bed are somewhat loud and even if you're carful they will make noise. Apologies to the neighbours.
