The staff was o so friendly and the overall vibe of the hotel is super relaxed and welcoming. Absolutely loved the suite (with bathtub outside) - very boho/surfer chic. Lovely pool with loungers and balinese beds (although by the end of the week, it was sometimes quite full by the time we arrived). Pool towels are provided. Location is great: the beautiful Valdevaqueros beach is just across the (busy) street (watch out when crossing!), Tarifa center is a 10 minute drive (do keep in mind that there might be some traffic jams in the evening going to Tarifa and parking there is scarce) and a lot of sights close by (e.g. Bolonia beach and the Roman ruins). Rental car is necessary though to get around. A separate private parking is available for hotel guests. Hotel is at a busy street, but no noise from the street in the room. Facilities (to be paid on top) are great: chillout bar, restaurant (loved the fajitas!), kitesurfing school (if you have the chance, do take a (couple of) lesson(s)), etc. No worries if you forgot to bring a bikini/swimsuit/havaianas/etc. - you can buy this at the shop of the hotel!

Breakfast was good, good meat selection and coffee and tea station were very good. Pool was great - clean, big, nice atmosphere around it. Room style was nice and very clean. AC worked very well. We generally liked the look and feel of the hotel - looked very tropical, we really liked all the plants, trees and flowers all around. The receptionists were very nice - in particular Rebecas was super friendly and helpful and even remembered our names even though we only stayed there for 1 night.

Pool area toilet was not good. Didn't have soap or hand-dryer. Breakfast could have had more types of fruit. The pillows in the room were uncomfortable, at night we could've used an extra blanket. Rooms are a bit small.

Been here many times, first time with the kids. They loved the pool. The reception staff are great, the rooms are great, the location is perfect. Very clean, the cleaners are very thorough. The breakfast is better than any I've had staying in other hotels in the area. Already booked in for another stay, can't wait. Close to all the places you want to be close to, Tumbao, Volare, Tangana and the pizza place 0 nueve. I manage rental properties and I'm not easily impressed. Book without doubt, have a great time here. 😎⛱

Absolutely nothing it was a perfect place for our bank holiday weekend.

Really loved the 90's vibe, everything so charming, beautiful gardens and beautiful wooden furniture. Kind staff and for breakfast love having a coffee prepared by a person instead of a machine. 100% fun has kept the essence of what it means to relax in a simple laid back way. Also great to have a real key to our door instead of some electronic system. I can imagine that when it gets busy in the summer it can get noisy as the rooms in the patio are very close together but I guess that's part of the fun as well.

So much to give praise for: the pool was large enough, with plenty of lounge chairs and (gorgeous) beds around, the breakfast buffet was generous and varied, and there was so much greenery you felt you were in a secluded jungle spot, the Mexican restaurant is superb and, last but not least, the staff was friendly and super efficient.

The bedroom was large enough for a couple and a baby but nothing to write home about. The bathroom was slightly small and could not fit 2 people comfortably, which is usually a hassle when you want to shower and get a baby ready. Unfortunately, the hotel is next to a busy road, so you will hear the traffic very often, although the greenery helps muffle it a bit.

we liked everything all to our perfection.

One thing that could be improved when having kids stay at your place is to remind parents that others would like to have a nice time and enjoy their stay as much as them. Its was our anniversary and that's why we got the suite and unfortunately we where constantly bothered by kids trying to open our doors all the time which we had to lock and throwing stones at our windows, mind you at that time i was coming out of the shower and if my husband is not quick they would have come in, we couldn't relax and use the sunbeds as we had these kids which their parents had been watching the football on the terrace and kids decided to go where the suites are. Don't get me wrong as I have kids myself but never ever have left them un attended. Maybe the solution is putting a gate with a fob

Really relaxing pool atmosphere with beautiful grounds that are well maintained. Balinese beds are great to relax in. Good breakfast selection and an amazing location near daddy’s most popular beach bars and beach restaurants like Bibo, Tumbao and Tangana. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

From time to time this becomes a wedding venue so you should avoid it during a wedding night. They did not have any beach towels for us.

Excellent location very close to beach. If you walk a couple of mins there’s a tunnel under the main road so you don’t need to worry to cross. Relaxing atmosphere, lots of chill out zones. Fabulous restaurant on an evening and subtle night time entertainment that matches the vibe (won’t keep you up all night). Lovely pool and lovely suites.

No options for lunch on site which is a shame as the whole complex is so relaxing it’s a pain to leave. Also no bar until 5:30pm.

Breakfast was ok with a small variety of goods. A quiet peaceful hotel that is very close to the town but yet a tropical paradise in such a hot area.

The room could do with updating. The bed was comfortable, however the 4 poster bed had the curtains removed which would have allowed a little privacy. Some fixtures and fittings were outdated or not working as well as some areas of the room requiring better cleaning to remove the evident cobwebs and much build up. in general, the hotel is great!

Great location short walk from amazing beach. Very welcoming and friendly staff. a very chilled out calm place, lovely pool and everything spotlessly clean.
