Hosts were a delight, room was nicer than we expected. Absolutely silent and pitch dark in the room at night, which was nice. Spacious room. Kitchen (with sink), refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and tableware were really nice to have.

Although the rooms have been recently and nicely updated, the building itself is not new, although that has little impact on a guest. Too many blankets/comforter on the beds. Also, I quite dislike decorative pillows - never an extra clean shelf to put them, and I hate putting them on the floor. And never enough clean tables and chairs to put luggage and bags on. There were sofas in the room, which is nice, but fabric-covered, which I don't like.

We loved our stay here! Found it by chance, we just wished we could have stayed longer! The hotel has a lovely huge garden and a swimming pool area with enough sunbeds and umbrella to be comfortable even if there were more guests. We had it all for ourselves that day though, which was lovely! Paying a bit more for the room with pool view was, in my opinion, worth it! The apartment is very spacious as well as the kitchen area. The reception is open until 9pm and you can buy some drinks from there. The area around the hotel was so beautiful, the dunes, Tarifa and the beach there were lovely.

It is worth noting that you need a car and the closest supermarket is 10/15 minutes drive, so you are quite isolated. Not a problem for us though! I don't really like when the pillow of the bed is that long thin one, would be great to also have more standard pillows options.

Great facilities for making trips to the surrounding area. The apartment was sufficiently furnished and clean. The advantage was to close the windows and create a dark room for long sleep. Nearby is a garden with a swing and a football goal

The only thing we would have liked is if the dogs, probably belonging to the staff who cleaned the apartments, were on a leash and not running around. I was uncomfortable when he jumped on me.

It was my second time here. This is a hidden gem 💎 just outside Terifa. The staff are lovely and welcoming. Parking is great. Horse in field comes to meet you. Chickens on sight. Children's play area , small pool and lounge area. I highly recommend this hotel. 👌

We had a few ants 🐜 on our work top in kitchen in room 15. And there was no kettle but that was soon put right when i asked. This time. But last time room 13 was fine.

This place is a dream, either the small holiday stable conversions or the bungalow each are very comfy. Private parking right outside tour door. Rooms are cleaned with fresh towels every day! Only a 10 minute drive into town, so easy enough and away from the noise. 1km from Punta Paloma beach with free parking.

The only thing, which there is nothing that can be done about, is the hotel entrance off the road is right on a main road corner (80kph) and can be quite treacherous with speeding trafic. Easier at night when other car lights make it more obvious. Not a big deal really, I've been visiting this hotel for 10 years with no trafic incidents.

Beautiful Spanish hotel/apartments with lots of character. Lovely pool. Very friendly hosts. We'll be back again next year

The location was great because it was near the windsurfing/wingfoiling beach, which is a beautiful beach. All of the properties near there are on a fast main road. There is little option to avoid that unless you go into Tarifa town which wouldn't have been our choice anyway. Google Maps suggests you have to do a whole extra 20 minute loop when going in one direction - but there is a handy restaurant just up the road which allows you to turn around safely and go back into town

Beautiful old cortijo close to some great beaches (and sand dunes), with lots of space to hang out and clean, comfortable rooms featuring a bathroom and a small kitchen. A great and on balance more affordable alternative to staying in Tarifa proper - if you have a car.

You NEED to have a car, pretty much. We did, but were going to take a short walk to the beach, which we were then advised against, perhaps justifiably so, because the nearby road is very busy and kind of dicey to cross. Bit of a pity, but otherwise the location is very nice, and it's quiet in spite of its proximity to the road.

Very cosy and comfortable, a lot of room, clean and warm during a chilly weather out of summer season thanks to the heating. We stayed only one night and hope to go back there to stay longer.

I don’t like much to have those single beds put together, instead I would prefer double bed. But I must say that the bed was still very comfortable because of softness.

This was the best hotel we had in Spain. The facilities are fantastic, the staff is welcoming and friendly, the rooms are comfortable. We honestly couldn't have hoped for a better stay. The breakfast was also wonderful. You can tell this place is well kept and loved!

Nothing. It was all fantastic.

A very chilled and relaxing place. Lovely natural site with lots of trees, gardens, plants. Close to the beach- we could see the sea and the African coastline from our patio area. Everything we needed in the apartment. The room was cleaned daily. The pool area was lovely and there were lots of loungers.

Nothing particularly. You could describe it as rustic but maybe some things are ready for an update eg the bathroom - however it didn't spoil our stay.
