The food choices were great and the facilities were brilliant. Hugo's class was busy so it was telling he was by far the most popular HYROX coach.

The only feedback is that the flies at lunch (in the top restaurant) put me off sometimes. Also, the bed could be made more in to a double where requested as opposed to them just being pushed together. I also felt the pillows were a little bulky / hard. The final point was that it would be good to be able to get chilled water & ice from the bars / restaurants throughout the day.

The property is spacious. True to its name for the ample sports activities. The nearby beach and the wonderful staff are worth mentioning too.

The sports activities for fitness were all at 9 or 10 am. I cannot eat before the workout and after the workout is always a rush for breakfast. Secondly, food options were great but bulk food was not good in quality. Meat often too hard and pasta soggy. The staff was friendly and made up for it :)

This is just an awesome hotel! Everything is perfect - location, pool, water slide, beach, sport options, football field, etc. The staff was friendly, food was tasty and room was perfect! Besides enormous amount of sport options, one can also select accomodation type - apartment, villa or hotel room, everything is possible. Location is also perfect - it is quite quiet place, but in five minutes you can reach Gran Tarajal, which has some bigger shops, medical facilities, etc. With a car, the whole island is basically reachable, but I specially recommend to visit a huge zoo that is just 20 driving minutes away)

I always write reviews for hotels, and often find some negative points, but this hotel is just ideal:)))

Clean and spacious appartment, fantastic sports and leisure facilities especially olympic pool, other leisure/kids pools, plenty of activities for all ages with multiple daily organised classes (lots free of charge, some xtra paid for a reasonable fee), very handy app with daily sports schedule to organise your day, very friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and convenience of the sports shop and supermarket onsite, number of restaurants and bars with evening events, self service laundry facility, car hire office. Loved it, would be definitely back!

No toaster in the self catering appartment.

This resort was amazing. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. The apartment was big and clean, air con great and sea view was so beautiful. Sheila on reception was an absolute star and was so patient and helpful. Car rental was so cheap and can be done at the hotel. You need a car to get around the island but honestly you could stay in the resort alone and still have so much to do from yoga to meditation, tennis, Pilates, ping pong, football tournaments, mini golf, which my teenage kids and husband absolutely loved. Or you could just lay by the pool, look at the beautiful sea view and enjoy, aperol spritzes from the pool bar and maybe partake in aqua gym or long walks on the beach which is literally on the doorstep. You don’t have to be sporty to stay here but if you are there’s so much to do. The buffet food was so good, so much variety every day from Spanish paella, the roast chicken, lamb and pork so delish, Italian food, fresh juices, smoothies, salads, fresh fish and shellfish and such a variety of desserts. My son has a severe nut allergy and every evening the chef would have a plate prepared separately especially for him of desserts which was such a lovely touch as my son can never really eat desserts at restaurants, so that was such a special treat for him every evening. The resort is quiet but you can go to Palapas bar in the evenings after dinner have a cocktail and it’s open to 12.30, they put on different themes, there was karaoke one night and jazz another which was good fun. There’s a supermarket on site with everything you might need and little souvenirs which were so much cheaper than the same things we saw when we visited Corralejo, there was a lovely market one evening with local craft stands. It was our first time there and we are already planning our next trip back !!! Taxi from the airport was 64 eur for 4 people and it’s about 40 min drive.

I love the choice of activities, and that there is something for everyone. If you don't want to do anything the pool area is great with plenty of sun beds. The beach is just there for a change of scenery. The food is fantastic, such a variety and focus on healthy choices. We love Playitas, it has something to keep everyone in the family happy.

Everything was great!

So many fun things to do. Great choice of classes and activities and enthusiastic instructors. Plus lovely pools. Especially loved the Olympic pool. Lots of space and very clean in the public areas. Our apartment was really comfortable and spacious. We had everything we needed. Clean modern bathroom with great shower. Super comfy beds. Good restaurants which were not overpriced. You can really enjoy relaxing at Las Playitas or go all out and do loads of activities. Either way it's a lovely place to be and I did not want to come home.

Supermarket a bit limited for choice if you want to self cater and a bit expensive too. Good excuse to eat in the restaurants though! The resort is a bit isolated so a car is useful if you want to see the island. However we ended up staying on the resort as there was so much to do. Not much to fault really.

The hotel is located in a large area, where there is something to do for sports enthusiasts and not only. There are a lot of activities for both adults and children. The food is delicious and varied.

Minus for the coffee, which wasn't tasty. That's all.

- very clean and impressive room that easily fit 3 people (we had a studio room) - Super friendly, accommodating, kind & helpful staff - they went above and beyond to help in anything we needed and nothing seemed too much for them (whether it was moving a table to a top floor study centre or giving my friend a coffee in the hotel for breakfast as she needed one and didn't even charge) - Super accommodating with our luggage needs keeping our most expensive items safe in the office. - My partner left his hoodie behind and they went above and beyond to help get it back even going to the post office to get a quote for sending it to England. - My friend injured her foot the last day and they promptly gave us instructions on nearest care facility 5 min away - Beautiful room, well laid out, balcony, well furnished, excellent quality fittings - heated mirror in bathroom - soft close on kitchen cabinets - lots of small touches in the room which have been well thought out and executed - Decent Wi-Fi across the resort (when it works) - Excellent weight training gym - Cleaner attended issue with overly wet bathroom quickly and late in evening - Reception staff were magnificent - especially Beralides who was so warm and kind & the lady from Ukraine who checked us in she was amazing and super friendly telling us where to go for the best photos! - lots of sports to try although most were an additional hire charge - we got lucky and were put into a room with a sea view (didn’t specify or pay for this) - walls were well sound insulated from other guests noises - really close to local village / town which was exactly what we wanted - it's also walking distance from the beach

- Needs better bowls and kitchen utensils, personally I wanted to cook often and the lack of bowls was a bit offputting - Garbage not collected daily (which is fine but there should be a place to throw it outside ideally) - Drain plug doesn’t drain water very quickly when using the shower and water gets all over the bathroom - Gap in bathroom sliding door so you can see into and out of the bathroom when on the toilet which isnt great for privacy reasons - all our towels in bathroom had a slight but noticeable greasy smell about them but towels in the gym smelt good and fresh - not very impressive or inviting beach but the hotel infrastructure compensates for this with impressive pools, bars and gardens

Everything was great. Staff, cleanliness, food... Our whole family was delighted - we are not sporty, but we also enjoyed the mini goal, basketball and swimming pool. We never go to the same place twice, but this time the whole family decided to go to Playitas next year :)
