Food was tasty and great. Plenty choice although apart from a salad bar and plain veg not many vegan options there. Staff was always very polite and welcoming. Great facilities in the hotel.

Everything! From the moment we arrived at the hotel our holiday went well. The reception staff were very welcoming. We arrived late in the evening but the hotel put on a light meal which was lovely. All staff at the hotel were friendly. We had a problem with our safe - this was sorted efficiently by the maintenance guys. Our room was cleaned daily, clean towels when we needed and the sheets changed mid week. It was all inclusive - the food was excellent so much choice freshly cooked. Staff in the restaurant were fabulous. Drinks by the pool served by friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. It is a very quiet location which was perfect for us as we just wanted to chill and relax. We will be back! 😃

We had a relaxing stay at Bahia playa. The staff were all very polite and friendly. The highlights of our stay were the peacefulness of the hotel, the fresh fish cooked daily and the morning classes. Inspira fitness were absolutely fantastic. Denise's Pilates and anikas yoga classes were some of the best I've been to, all with the stunning backdrop of the waves on the sea below. Their instruction in German, Spanish, French and English was seamless and they delivered it in a way that everyone could participate and some humour to make everyone feel comfortable. There were two pools, a smaller heated one which was lovely and a larger one. Unfortunately, we were not informed that the day after we arrived they would be commencing work on the pool bar by the larger pool which was disappointing, but thankfully the smaller pool was not too busy and our room was on the other side and so could not hear the works being done. We did use the spa on one day which was a large room with a good sized spa pool with jacuzzi sections, a steam room, a sauna and a small cold pool. The full body massage was excellent with professional staff. We were all inclusive but we did walk regularly into the small town and had a delicious seafood meal overlooking the sea at La Baracca. There is a lovely promenade was which made walking very easy, around 1km long. At the far end, this led onto a cliff top coastal walk to the next town which was steep in sections but a beautiful short hike and on AllTrails app.

I loved our room, the food and drink, the pool and the staff were excellent. We will be back.

First impressions were that the hotel looked clean and modern. The reception Evalina was very helpful and we got upgraded to stay in the R2 Romantic hotel. We could not have been happier. The room was big, clean, quiet and the gardens kept beautifully. So we're very pleased as this is the adjacent hotel but is much quieter and relaxed with free use of hot tubs, swimming pool and beautiful gardens to sit in. A pool drinks and snacks bar. We walked across to the other hotel for meals which was a 5 min pleasant walk. We could also use all facilities at Bahia Player so we didn't miss anything but could also get away from the music at night etc. We also had 30 mins free in the spa. The food was absolutely brilliant and all alcohol was to our taste. The staff are very friendly and helpful and in particular Marta at the pool bar had a lovely welcoming smile always and Marco in entertainment is exceptional. Room swept and beds made every day. Bottle of Cava in room and fresh water each day. Tea and coffee facilities also in room Would definitely recommend and return as it's a great base if you hire a car, so near to beautiful beaches.

Hardly anything here. Beds were huge but quite hard. In the main hotel the usual problem of people reserving sunbeds, but we didn't have that at Romantic as there was lots of space

The heated pool was great - and really necessary in February. We went in the pool every day. The staff were so helpful. My husband asked upon arrival if we had a sea view. And we got upgraded to a suite with a sea view. Also at check-in the man helping us was great. He realised we hadn't eaten and he knew they were about to stop serving dinner so he stopped the check-in and told us to go quickly to get food first. When we asked about an early check out (5.45) I assumed we had no chance of breakfast but the lady told us to go to dining area at 5.30am for coffee, cereal and bread etc. The property was really clean and all staff we met were very friendly and helpful.

Only thing we didn't like was the noise sometimes at night. Our room was directly above an outside seating area ( hotel grounds) and also the promenade ( public) and groups of younger people were sometimes noisy until 2am. I couldn't get asleep as I am a light sleeper.

EVERY member of staff that I spoke with was wonderful, friendly, accommodating and helpful; the spa experience in particular is amazing - I urge everyone to take advantage of the services they have to offer, the ladies that were there on the day I went there were magnificent and serene. The property itself and the location is beautiful. The room that I stayed in was great. When I return in the future, I will make sure to have practised my Spanish more so that I am able to speak it in confidence with everyone there!!

Small nitpick: one 1.5L bottle of water was provided in the mini bar in the guest room, which obviously didn’t last long. I guess it would be nice if a bottle was provided every other day for the stay. Also I wasn’t able to use the safe in my room - based on another review that I saw on here, I have to assume that you have to pay separately to use this, which is somewhat strange to me.

Our room was cleaned daily, fresh towels when we needed them and our bed changed mid week. Food was really good quality plenty of choice and again friendly staff on hand to help. A lovely quiet resort where we could relax and chill round the pool getting cold drinks when we needed them. A friendly hotel that allows you to relax and recharge 😃

Nothing - everything was great

- hotel was very clean, always fresh towels - staff was very friendly - always good entertainment like aquafit or evening shows with dj and dancers - food was good - place was very quite - snacks in between lunch and dinner

- not a big varity of food (always bit the same) - pools weren‘t really heated, so it was too cold in december for swimming - besides the hotel there isn‘t much to see or to do, unless you rent a car - drinks like mojito or aperol spritz weren‘t included in the all inclusive

It was a really good get away in this complex. We were upgraded to Romantic suites. In the whole hotel there's AMAZING staff, nice animators, good food, clean environment - there was nothing to complain about. We stayed for 4 nights and felt like this is just perfect length of stay as the hotel is not too big. Although we came with low expectations after reading a lot of reviews, we instead were very surprised. Yes the beach isn't perfect (which is absolutely not an issue of the hotel), yes the food range isn't the highest in the world and something might use a bit of restorations but to all those who cry on reviews - remember how much you paid before complaining! For this amount of money it's more than the best you can get. Thank you for all of the team hotel team.

We had the only one issue with supplies in the room as we asked for refill and there was a slight miscommunication between reception and the maids which caused us waiting a bit too long for the solution but it didn't ruin anything at all.
