Pleasant location with direct access to the beach and a short walk to bus stop. My room was a spacious suite with large terrace overlooking the sea. Kettle, fridge and two rings supplied. There is a large pool and terrace. The buffet breakfast is varied and fair quality.

Apart from mugs for tea, no other crockery, cutlery, pans supplied. My suite was directly above the bar 2 floors below, noise from any entertainment there was very loud, but over by 22.30. The pillows need upgrading.

If I could rate it 20/10 I would Everything was absolutely perfect! From the incredible location of the hotel that allowed me to watch the sunrise every morning by the beach, to the amazing staff: friendly, caring and so generous with their smiles and tips. It was an unforgettable stay PS delicious breakfast as well !

great room, large and very private, right on the beach, quiet and restful. The beach was just a few steps away and just lovely. Good sun loungers in our private patio, and plenty of available loungers on the beach. Room cleaning was excellent and the cleaning staff very friendly. The reception staff were really helpful and in fact all of the staff were great, restaurant staff in particular. We had a lovely week's holiday.

We were not too impressed with the food, we had booked breakfast and dinner with our room, breakfast was always the same and a bit boring. Dinner had lots of choices and you could always find something to suit but the hot food was never really hot, lukewarm at best. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel is great, and the restaurant staff were amazing.

Hotel is clean, close to the beach. Restaurant waiting staff was exceptional nice and friendly.

I had unpleasant experience waiting for check out. As well- the restaurant manager was in kind of state which enabled to communicate.

Table allocation at the dinner, as a single you have to share a table with other single travellers, also canteen could have been more spacious.

Room was spacious and clean. Pool area was lovely and no hassle getting a sunbed whatsoever. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Lounge area with free WiFi very pleasant too.

I didn't like the unhelpful attitude of the lady on reception when I arrived at 10am on 21/11. If you aren't prepared to be helpful, smile and be pleasant, don't do this job fhs !!! To be fair she was ok later so perhaps there was a reason for the way she behaved. Also, the distance from hotel to the little commercial centres with restaurants/bars was a bit of a drag . Also a shower within a bath ? Are we still stuck in the 80s ??

This place was a real find, a bit of a hidden gem! Set right on a beautiful sandy beach with turquoise sea, surrounded by palm trees. The sea at Costa Calma is very clear and perfect for swimming. It was a peaceful place to while away a few days relaxing. The hotel feels civilised and calm, it’s quite a grand design and feels well maintained. My room was huge and had a massive balcony (terrace) with a sea view. There was good choice at breakfast and the food was good quality - everything from eggs and bacon to freshly made pancakes, yogurt, fresh fruit and pots of coffee. There are therapy rooms on site offering osteopathy, massage and various other treatments. I enjoyed both a much needed osteopathy session and a wonderfully relaxing massage. There’s also a jacuzzi and a sauna. The outdoor pool area provides a stunning view of the beach, which I enjoyed whilst lounging on one of the Bali beds, sipping a Virgin Mojito. The Neptune bar is cool, the decor has a fun 80s vibe. On the last night I was there, there was a DJ playing some decent tunes in the bar/ pool area which created a nice atmosphere for sitting outside with a drink.

The spa area (jacuzzi and sauna) could do with a little bit of updating, but it was still perfectly pleasant.

Location was great. Room was spacious with Fabulous view. Bar and restaurant staff were friendly.

Found one of the reception staff unhelpful, and trying to obtain information about airport transfer advice was impossible, Advice is to get the number 10 bus. Also TV in room had no channels apart from a couple with Spanish language.

Poor WiFi. The hotel design wasn't helpful with the amout of steps. However it kept you fit.
