Beautiful pool. Great location close to beaches (although a limited selection of restaurants). (We didn't try the onsite restaurant, but it looked nice.) Room was really nice. Lots of space and clean. Nice kitchenette (they don't provide many cutlery/dishes, but you can ask for more). There is no oven, however. Sun loungers by the room, nice sea view.

Just note that it can be very windy and the wind isn't particularly warm.

The spa was closed unless you booked it and there were no yoga classes as advertised on booking.com, also the shop was closed, there was no bar and the restaurant was closed at lunchtime . The beds were 2 singles pushed together which easily parted meaning one of you ended up on the floor!

Location, the Atlantic ocean nearby, mountain views, great spacious rooms, great staff and buffet and a very calm and quiet place all together made it a very welcome and special stay in winter times. Very nice temperatures 22C

Suggestion could be to consider dimming light options for evening dinners for what is now a very bright place

Our room, or rather the flat, was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Even a fairly well-equipped kitchen. Could have easily spent a week there. The restaurant and the whole property are really nice, albeit rather large. We also really liked the fact that the property is on the very edge of Costa Calma, so it was very quiet, and close to nature and the beach.

Our bedroom had two separate beds, which was not very comfortable, also the mattresses were rather hard. Breakfast was ok with really lots of choices, but most of the offerings on the buffet weren't that tasty. But nothing to complain about at all, as you were able to choose stuff you liked, and enough of that. What we really disliked was the dishonesty about the room. Judging from the photos of the "Junior Suite with Sea View" we had booked, we expected to get a private balcony. Instead, this turned out to be the public "hallway" between rooms. So be aware of that! The photos are tricking you into something you likely won't get.

I absolutely loved everything. The junior room with a view, the beds, how clean it was, how quiet. The heated pool and how you could walk to the sea and the restaurants.

The only thing that can be improved, but that is very personal, was the coffee, I really did not like the taste of the coffee. But there are enough places nearby where you can get good coffee.

comfortable apartment, well equipped kitchen , comfortable beds ,bathroom with rain shower, situated in a quiet location but only a short walk to the beach & centre of Costa calma , this is my second visit to esmeralda Maris & will return on our next visit to costa calma , I would recommend hiring a car from the airport for 1 weeks holiday which is cheaper than a return taxi from the airport

The apartments are great. The one we got and its see view was just perfect for us. The location also is perfect. It is very close from a very nice beach and at the same time it is a very quiet area! Breakfast and dinner were quite good as well. We would definitely stay here again.

The Wifi didn’t work well. It worked well only for our first days and then it didn’t work at all anymore. We mentioned it at the reception but nothing changed. It was also a surprise that one has to pay extra (per day) if one wants to make use of the available safe in the room. For a 4 stars hotel and the paid price it could be included as part of the rate.

Great place, we were there for kiting in July. Loved the friendly staff, great room for a family of four, best to get sea view. Good great and fun and friendly staff.
