The hotel is very good, albeit some things here and there they can improve. The rooms are large, cleaned everyday and the beds are large sized. The food is good, there is a choice of few bars in the Hotel and they have covered you for drinks and snacks as well. The location is best in Costa Calma with a Supermarket and Pharmacy just outside. The beach in along the hotel and the hotel has a beach bar as well. It was my first resort holiday and I absolutely loved it. Will I go back to Hotel Taro, most definitely!

Costa Calma is not Spanish, it's very German. Other than the janitors, everyone around in the Hotel and Costa Calma is German and so were the guests - mostly elderly German couples. I wouldn't personally rate Hotel Taro as 4 start, though the hotel is great. There was no complimentary water in the room, no kettle for the odd time tea or coffee (though tea was available in bars most day), the safe in the room had to be rented, the WiFi had to be paid for, and there was no iron facility in the room - for a 4 star all inclusive package, these things would be basic. The reception staff unlike other places have no clue or suggestions on what to do locally - didn't find them very helpful. Would I go back to Fuerteventura, absolutely not.

I was a bit worried about some of the reviews but we had a great stay at Taro Beach, the rooms were big cool and clean, the food had great variety and was fresh, definitely good value for money and suited our party age 12-82 which is a big ask. The staff were always friendly and helpful but at times it seemed there was not enough so I will put that as a negative comment only to get them some support, Bruno in the Restaurant was a stand out leader of his workforce and always willing to help, 10/10 for Bruno!

More staff needed at times, the load seemed unfair on the Restaurant and Bar staff especially as the Hotel appeared to be full, they definitely need more support and always worked very hard to help when asked. - its down as a negative but only to suggest more staff please

Hotel was very good. Location and views were fantastic. I wanted a few days away to relax and this is exactly what I got. Rooms were a bit basic but at end of day it's only somewhere to sleep at night. Food served at the restaurant was very good, a large selection every night. Pool area was fantastic and staff were very welcoming.

Only downside I had was the all inclusive drinks package. The selection and quality of drinks were poor. Maybe if they offered a premium option with a different selection of drinks or the all inclusive only covered certain drinks and you could pay if you wanted for others. I wouldn't mark the hotel down for this those because instill had a great few days here.

Hotel is situated right at the beach. We had a sea view apartment with a big terrace and amazing ocean view. The food was good with quite a few vegetarian options. Unfortunately, the sofa bed for my mum has negatively overshadowed our stay as it was literally single bed attached to the top of the sofa. Very tiny even for a child, let alone for an adult and quite uncomfortable! Guests were mainly German seniors and it felt like I was in Germany as even entertainment was in German. Not recommend for young people.

Ridiculous, small, single bed on top of sofa, should not be called sofa bed! But small single, child bed! Also, cocktails quite a bad quality, the entertainment bar in the evening was quite worn out with a bad , alcohol smell

The location was great, fantastic view to the ocean. The rooms were clean and spacious, beds were really comfortable. The resort's garden areas were well kept, with really nice flowers and palm trees. The food was delicious and varied. Most of the rooms have oceanview, but family rooms on the ground floor are highly recommended.

Originally we booked a family room, but the first night we had to sleep in two separate standard rooms because they made a mistake in our reservation. They could fix the problem by the next day 2:00 PM (they promised 11:00 AM). My impression was that even though they were nice, they tended to make promises they knew they could not keep instead of telling the hard truth right away... The beach bar (that has a fantastic view of the ocean by the way) has seen better days. Rusty and worn out, shouts out for renovation. Wi-Fi services are far from good. The pool area was not cleaned as often as it was needed. That also applies to sunbed mattresses.

Spacious room with a 60 second walk downstairs straight onto the beach. The staff are excellent, very friendly. Terrace has a nice patio with tables and chairs. A/C plus free WIFI. The beds are large with a firm mattress and a good size sofa and TV. Food was ok, had a large selection with breakfast dinner and lunch plus all inclusive has a bar outside right on the beach.

Nice location with beach very close to the hotel, spectacular views, good food with helpful staff and chef cooking extra food for child if requested. Location less windy compared to other parts of island.

Single bed was too narrow and high, my 4 y. Old daughter fell of it twice first night. There was no kettle in the room. Free WiFi only available at reception. Staff speak German even knowing you're not from Germany.
