Hotel is a small cluster of mini apartment style rooms around a pool (approx 5-6). We were the only people in the hotel for the two nights we visited. Beautiful pool and relaxing vibe. The room was lovely and big with great air con. The bathroom and shower was by far the best we had in our whole two weeks in sri lanka it was luxury for the price of the hotel. Great choice of breakfast. Hosts picked us up in a tuk tuk free of charge.

18 mins walk from beach - needed a tuk tuk to get there. It have been nice for the room to be refreshed on day two of our stay (for example - bed made, refreshed mugs)

A beautiful boutique style hotel with beautiful clean rooms and comfortable beds, a luxurious bathroom and a chef who makes delicious food. Very friendly, attentive, helpful, hardworking staff who will go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. I couldn’t find Nutella in the shops at any of the previous hotels we stayed in. When tree of life contacted me to remind me of my booking I asked them did they know where I could find Nutella anywhere in Sri Lanka. Within one hour the hotel bought it and had it ready for my daughter on her arrival. THis kind gesture made her whole trip. Great job!!!

I know they are working on getting it fixed more but WiFi could be better, although hotel did everything to get us best signal at all times - even placing two Reuters in our room. Hotel was fully booked so understand lots of people using it.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tree of Life Resort and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They even arranged for a baby cot to be placed in our room without any hassle, which made our stay with our little one much more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the lake safari in Bentota that the resort arranged for us. The safari was an amazing experience, with beautiful scenery and lots of crocodiles to see. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Aside from the lake safari, the resort itself was absolutely stunning. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the amenities were top-notch. The food was delicious and the pool provided a great way to relax and unwind. Overall, I highly recommend Tree of Life Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the lake safari in Bentota was an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to come back!

everything was good and beyond expectations

We booked two chalets for an overnight stay at the Tree of Life Resort. It was a great choice and what we liked the most about this property was that it was exactly like in the pictures. The two main standout features for us were the bathrooms and the pool! Fantastic designing and what a great use of space! Highly recommend this stay!

Not so much a dislike, but you need to be bit cautious, especially with the elderly, using the bathrooms in the rain as it can get a bit slippery.

Nothing! We stayed in 7 hotels during our stay in Sri Lanka and this was the best by far. I am often cynical of reviews given on booking, but this place really does deserve it.

This place is a little gem. I enjoyed my stay at The tree of life resort. I was well taken care of by all the staff. The room was comfy, clean and stylish. The food was delicious and the pool was refreshing. This resort would suit groups. You could easily book the whole resort out as it only has 6 chalets. I totally recommend this place, and I'm looking forward to returning.

The room is very clean and look exactly like the pictures. The pool is also very nice and clean. It is the best place we stayed during our trip to Sri Lanka. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and provides you with everything you need. They even have a lamp for the mosquitoes, so you can enjoy the evenings on your own terrace. We highly recommend this place.

Everything was perfect! A perfect little gem of a resort. The resort is beautifully laid out around the pool and dining area. The plants and trees give it a garden like atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful and comfy and the bath and showers an extra treat. The staff was very friendly and the service and exceptional. The food from the restaurant very tasty and we enjoyed every meal!

Best boutique hotel in Sri Lanka.Very new and well designed. Breakfast was good and well prepared . The staff could not do enough for you. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

Nothing Guest with young children may be put off by the long walk to the beach but a tuk tuk is available.

We loved everything. The staff were incredibly kind and nice they always cared for us and gave us advices and good recommendations. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the resort and the food is great. Anything we asked they gave us a solution. The hotel also provided us free tuktuk rides to the beach and restaurants. Really great
