Big luxuries room with a very large bed. Excellent and clean swimming pool. Nice garden with threes and bushes for good shadow. Try the cashew curry. Excellent!

We had an fantastic experience staying at Sigiriya cashew palace resort for three days. It is well located in a quite area and has only a few rooms. The rooms a spacious and new, well maintained and with a big bath room. There is a minibar and coffee and tea in the room. The resort is a nice garden with many trees and a beautiful pool to relax. The staff is overly friendly and go up and beyond to make your stay as positive as possible. They have a own Safari cheap and offer well priced tours to all surrounding parks. Food was delicious too, we had both breakfast and dinner at the place. I would definitely recommend this small resort for some relaxing days and for sightseeing in the Sigiriya area. We will come again.

We had the absolute privilege to be the first guests to check-in at Sigiriya Cashew Palace Resort after it reopened. It is the sort of hotel that is 6 stars for the soul. The family that run it are lovely and incredibly attentive. And the rooms are massive: we had a two bedroom family apartment, which had two bathrooms and a huge kitchen/living room/diner. Breakfast was terrific each day, and the one time we had dinner in the hotel was also excellent. The swimming pool onsite as well as ad hoc experiences like roasting cashews - hence the name! - are just added bonuses. It's also incredibly well positioned for the delights of Sigiriya and the rest of the cultural triangle. Just stay here, you won't regret it. And you may regret it if you don't.

Nothing: absolute top marks all round. There is absolutely nothing not to like about this place. Hmm, maybe we didn't like leaving! The hospitality, sheer friendliness and overwhelming desire from every staff member to help guests was sensational.

Everything but especially the cleanliness and hospitality! The people are all so kind and will do everything to make sure you have a great stay. It was such a clean place, and I didn’t appreciate this enough until staying at other hotels in Sri Lanka. We would return in a heartbeat!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. However take note that it’s a little out of the way from the main strip and you need a scooter/tuk tuk to get to places (not walkable).

The small resort exhibited remarkable beautiful. The room is exceptional. The bedroom was spacious, complemented by a large veranda. The location was ideally situated for accessing all the destinations we aimed to explore. The staff and the proprietor demonstrated exceptional kindness and assistance.it is an exceptionally tranquil environment.

The bedroom was not cleaned carefully. The towels are not replaced on a daily basis. On the second day,i need to place all towels on the floor for them to be replaced. The bathroom emitted an unusual odour. The toilet had a leak from the tank.

The room was very spacious, with big windows and the location was lovely & peaceful. But most importantly the staff were amazing! They were so incredibly friendly and helpful. We were struggling to get a TukTuk, they phoned someone for us and made sure the driver waited to bring us back again. The following day we had an accident and needed to see a doctor - they took us there, communicated with the nurses for us and brought us back (and even picked up coconuts for us to drink on the way back)! Breakfast was ready for us at whatever time we requested based on ordering the night before - it was fresh, filling and delicious! I would certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sigiriya.

We didn’t have much to complain about at all. If we had to give any feedback - there were a few ants in the bathroom (nothing too bad) but I think this is just due to the nature of the location so hard to avoid but the place still felt very clean!!

Good standard, spotless clean, well equipped and cared for hotel with a swimming pool located in a tropical garden. The family rooms are gorgeous! Crispy white sheets, white towels, toiletries.

We had several maintenance issues during our three days stay. The staff staff’s English is limited so the communication is tough- especially if there’s a problem. There’s a new building being constructed on the premises- which we feel should be reflected in the hotel’s description till it’s finished. WiFi can be sketchy.

Absolutely fantastic place. Really welcoming staff, who were beyond friendly and totally made our stay even more special. Nothing was too much trouble and it felt like they really cared. We did several trips with them - safari and 2 rock climbs. Great experiences and excellent value for money. beautiful spacious rooms, great aircon, comfy beds, attention to detail was outstanding, clean gorgeous bathroom. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Lovely swimming pool, perfect for a quick dip after all our adventures.

Lovely hotel with massive clean rooms, amazing breakfast and the friendliest staff. The staff did everything they could to help make our stay enjoyable - even taking us to Sigiriya Rock at 5AM! Probably the nicest room we’ve stayed in during our holiday in Sri Lanka. The hotel is about 10mins drive into Sigiriya but we hired a scooter and loved making the journey into town, down to Dambulla and over to Polonnaruwa; the hotel makes a great base to explore the area.

Exceptional place! The rooms and the whole resort are very clean and well maintained. The swimming pool and garden areas are amazing if you want to relax and spend some time after or before your excursions around the area. The food they serve for breakfast, lunch and dinner is super tasty and good, and good prices (same as the other restaurants of Sigiriya.) And lastly, the staff is amazing, all of them, you will feel like home. Thanks for everything. I would definitely recommend it, we had a great experience!!
