We were visiting a friend in the vicinity and our expectation was a relaxing short stay with decent meal and recreational offerings. The hotel met with our expectations and delivered good value for money.

Food, particularly the bread and pastries could have been better. They were hard and tasteless. We Sri Lankans expect to have egg hoppers when a hopper station is running. Was shocked to hear that egg hoppers are not served for dinner.

I have asked the day before for a take away breakfast( we intended to leave early in the morning for Sigiriya rock.). At 6 am everyone was sleeping,we spend more than half an hour trying to checkout and have a cup of coffee. Unprofessional!

The staff are incredible, they are very nice and welcoming. The food, the breakfast, the bar service. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Hot shower with pressure.

Lovely stay at the Camellia, everything was spotlessly clean, the staff were very attentive and friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Not much

Staff were helpful. We asked for privacy and they gave us a private room. Pool was very clean and breakfast was good.

The restaurant claims to be halal but the staff mentioned they had halal pork, which made us nervous of how legit it is. Food was brilliant though!

Everything was very pleasant and the location was excellent. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The only problem we had was that the steam room was not working properly. We booked this hotel specifically because of the steam room and had we known it was not working would have chosen elsewhere but apart from this the Camilia was great!
