I always feel at peace when I arrive here. Nestled in lush greenery and surrounded by the serene sounds of nature, my friend and I immediately felt at peace. The atmosphere within the forest surrounds is peaceful, the air is fresh, and every corner of the property exudes charm and tranquility. The check in experience was a pleasure, we were greeted warmly by staff, offered a lovely refreshment. Our rooms were ready and it was wonderful to be back, the rooms are luxuriously large with all amenities and beautiful art work. We were relaxing by the poolside after walking the rock, such a delightful way to spend the afternoon, the staff were attentive to our needs. Special shout out the Spa facilities, my massage was wonderful.

staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly, very willing to help with organising sightseeing trips. breakfast choice was very good and cooked well ,as was the evening buffet . Very quiet hotel , swimming pool was very good if not a little cold compared to some but i think that is because it is well shaded by the forest trees . rooms were very large and clean and the aircon worked well.

its very isolated unless you have transport, there is not a lot else around and the road leading to the hotel is well worn and probably not suitable if you have any mobility issues although tuk tuks are available and can be arranged by reception.

The staff were lovely, the place was absolutely beautiful and my family generally enjoyed our stay. I would come back and stay again for an authentic Sri Lankan experience.

The cocktails were hit and miss. One of our meals was disappointing at dinner (mushy soft prawns) but all the other meals were perfect. The pool was also full of bugs, so we chose not to swim.

More attention on cleaning. It is true that it is located in the jungle, so you need to be flexible (eg monkey noises on the rooftop if you have the room on the first floor), but we found a cockroach that then entered a luggage. Only after this episode the room was cleaned in depth, especially the bathroom

This is a luxury hotel in the jungle of Sigiriya! It was private and all the staff were so friendly! A special thank you to Udayanga, who accommodated all our needs! The wildlife was amazing seeing squirrels, civets, Indian Paradise Flycatcher and goanna’s!!! The food was divine everyday and awesome drinks! We want to bring the family back here!

The was nothing to dislike about this property!

The property was amazing, you feel like you're in the jungle. They have even had an elephant come to the pool once! Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience that. The pool area is beautiful. Rooms were large and beds were comfy. Kids enjoyed the DVD selections. I enjoyed the spa service which was so relaxing. Booked an Elephant Safari which was fantastic! So much fun and a must do for anyone visiting.

The people from the reception were very nice, ready to help. Breakfast and the food from the restaurant was good. The jungle envolving the hotel was beautiful.

We went in the end of november and the activities that were advertised weren't available at all. A lot of humidity and molt in the room, but I guess it was expected

The place is really beautiful, in a very convenient location to visit all the nearby attractions. The place have a lovely swimming pool where you can relax. I loved waking up in the morning with the monkeys in front of our room jumping everywhere. The thing i most liked was the breakfast, lunch and dinner! In this place you will eat very well! Good alcoolics drinks.

if they could do something about the mold in the room the rating would become 10.

From the moment I checked in, I knew this jungle experience was going to be amazing. The beautiful layout of the resort, the spaces, structures, landscaping, the welcome from front of house and the gardeners as you walked the grounds. A perfect stay for exploring the wonders of Sigiria. The pool was cool and long to swim lazy laps with the beautiful trees laying shade. The deck area was a treat to read your book under the shade of big umbrella's and sip on resort special cocktails. The rooms, were huge, modern and comfortable, with gorgeous artwork, super comfortable beds, large bathroom, hot water, hair dryer and toiletries, plus the TV had English channels. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff catered very well for International travellers and I felt very spoilt for choices and flavours.

There was a Sri Lankan family with many children, the parents just let them run wild. The tranquility was lost, until I found my headphones.

The rooms are big and it’s is a real forest hotel. The restaurant is so good and we satisfied with our food though it took quite long as we didn’t eat buffet and ordered from ale carte menu. So if you want to order food, order first and look around the hotel or go spa.

It’s a long way from the main road and very bumpy way. The rooms can be cleanser. My luggage wheel was damaged from handling by staff collecting from our rooms when we checked out.
