Loved everything about it. - The rooms were nice and clean. - The washroom is big. - The food at the restaurant was decent and nice. - Very friendly team and always ready to support - The location is very convenient to both the rocks. - Walkable distance to the main town as well and slightly far from the main town so you don't hear alot of noise except for nature

- Would be nice id the washroom door can be closed from the outside ( from the room). It kept on opening because the lock is broken. - if it's possible to find a way to reduce the noise of the connected rooms. Can literally here everything someone talks or does in the other room.

Sitting on the balcony in the sigirya night time was just incredibly peaceful and feels like your in a jungle of some sort. Staff were extremely helpful and I got a welcome drink which I cant remember the name of but tasted unbelievable. Unfortunately I didnt catch the sunrise but the couple staying in the next room did and showed me photo's which looked incredible. Its also incredibly close to the sigirya rock.

Setting some context here that im absolutely shattered and everybody here wakes up before sunrise for that beautiful viewpoint. This has the effect that if you try and sleep in, youre going to get woken up. It seems there was construction at the location which started at 6 or 7am, I imagine this will be complete in the next couple of weeks. You could also hear dogs barking/fighting at 3am (not at the hotel) which woke me up, not the hotels fault by any means and would/could happen anywhere.

• Water Pressure Issues – Similar to many places in the area, the water pressure could have been better. • Limited Dining Options – While the food was decent, the variety was somewhat limited

All staff was super friendly and helpful. They organised tuktuks and taxis and a great Durulu elefant safari for us. The lodge is nice and wooden made and is greatly located close to Pidurangala and Lions Rock, but still in a quiter place. In addition there is the access to the view point rock, which we enjoyed in the morning and evening. We had a great time here!

There was only one small thing: Sometimes there was a not so nice smell in bathroom, probably from the draining system. The rest was completely perfect.

Lovely place to stay. We booked the wooden cabana and had a beautiful experience. Nevertheless, as you’re in the middle of the jungle you need to consider that there will be fauna around you, also in the room :) The staff was super nice and caring. They were always willing to help and arranged a massage and a safari tour in kaudulla for us. Both at a better price than what we saw in any internet page. The hotel has also a rock from where you can see the sunrise or sunset Summing up: we totally recommend it.

Cabin with a unique character and rustic furniture & decoration. We had the unit facing the lake and enjoyed the views at sunrise and sunset. Nice and quiet location within walking distance to the Sigiriya entrance gate. Very friendly and supportive host family!

The unique character comes with an uneven bathroom floor which could become a bit tricky during nighttime. There were several gaps around doors and roof, large enough for insects and small rodents to get in. It didn’t bother us but sensitive guests should be aware.

Location is great. About 20 minutes walk to the lion rock. Lovely viewpoint of the rock on the grounds (both during the day and at sunrise) and a very peaceful location. Staff were very friendly and gave us a nice lift to Dambulla afterwards. Deluxe cabins were very nice and new.

Food was standard for Sri Lanka. The place had building work going on around our cabin which was a bit noisy.

The property is super close to Sigiriya/Lion rock and is definitely walkable (10mins to entrance) no need to get a Tuk Tuk if you want to save some money. There is also a fantastic viewpoint from the back yard where we were able to view the sunset on Sigiriya/Lion rock. This alone is worth every penny of the stay!

The shower didn’t have any heated water working. We didn’t need it during our stay, but it would have been nice to have the option.

Beautiful room, amazing sunrise spot, helpful and friendly staff! They helped us with getting food and organising travel arrangements to our next destination. Lovely people! couldn’t recommend it enough!

A nice comfortable and affordable place to stay in sigiriya. The viewpoint out the back is lovely to go see. The walkable distance to lions rock is also very convenient.

Just be careful about wild elephants if walking to lions rock early in the morning as we found out afterwards the route gets a lot of Elephant traffic. It is also a little further from restaurants than some other places to stay in sigiriya.
