We enjoyed our stay at Fresco Water Villa - great sized rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Loved the well-maintained swimming pool, especially the supply of beach towels for guests. We enjoyed the afternoon drinks service to the pool area, and appreciated the fruit platter delivered to our room on the first night. Staff were very happy to organise our early morning transport to Sigiriya Rock to watch the sun rise. Great value for money!

Nice hotel. Pool was very pretty. Rooms were large and clean.

Food wasn't great but definitely edible so we preferred to venture into centre of Sigiriya for evening meal. I had a neck and shoulder massage which wasn't very good - again maybe look for a dedicated spa in the center. The hotel was a bit far out of the center requiring TukTuks to go anywhere but not a big issue. Be sure to keep windows and doors close or you'll be sharing the room with Geckos (which is obviously to be expected for the location).

Room was nice and clean. The pool was spacious for the number of guests present and it appeared to be well maintained. Food was very good too. If anything, the variety of food in the buffet could be improved. The staff and management were very supportive. Soon after our arrival they provided us with a complementary fruit platter, which was quite nice. We requested an extra chair for the room, and it was provided in a minute.

The Pool was great and wonderful and they maintained the pool very well.After some tome i found out that there is another pool in the opposite to the hotel and it's also a part of it.It was a great experiance

the room was so great,but the air conditioned was some kind of noisy.Other than that everythings were great

The pool was gorgeous and we loved having a morning and afternoon dip. Our room whilst large was in need of a good coat of paint and the air conditioner needed replacing, it worked but made a rattling noise and the fins were broken. The breakfast was good, lots of choice.

The hotel was just a bit too far from anything if you wanted to wander out in the evenings for dinner. It was a tuk tuk ride anywhere.

Location was calm And quiet and all the staff (reception- gayan very friendly and nice,restaurant staff were nice and smiley always) food was excellent and delicious.

It would be nicer if the bathroom was a bit more cleaner, but the room service staff done a very good job of it

Pool was amazing, room was clean and had lots of space. Staff organised our tuk tuks for our early start and the distance from the main town was not too bad - less than 500 lkr tuk tuk price. Overall loved it and will stay here if we return

The staff in the restaurant were a bit off and the restaurant was awkward to know when they were serving food. It's okay as there were very nice places to eat in town.

The location is very convenient. The hotel is very nature friendly and most of the rooms have a balcony with great views. Rooms are Very spacious. Value for the money.

What I didn’t like was the bread at the breakfast. All sorts of bread were very hard and not tasty.

We really enjoyed our time at Fresco Water Villa. The hotel is big and well maintained while remaining relatively close to the main attractions in Sigiriya. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a blend of comfort and being in the middle of nature.

Very clean, huge comfortable rooms, very lovely staff, wonderful pool area.

Nothing. Was approx 2km from the city centre, however only a very short tuktuk ride away. There were plenty of restaurants and stores nearby in walking distance.
