A nice comfy spot near the main Hiriketiya beach, with easy access to the beach area and restaurants. There are other places which are closer to the beach, and this was around 5 min walk away, but this was not an issue for us. Beautiful pool, very comfy beds. Pricing seems on par with similar properties. Great breakfast, the staff at the restaurant were great. Saw that staff were regularly cleaning the place, and check in and check out was smooth.

Bathrooms - clean but not well structured. Tiles were slippery, could have used more appropriate flooring. No shower cubicles, so the bathroom will always be wet. No hair dryers in rooms, but one was provided promptly upon request. Our room near the pool had a small window which could not be covered up, i.e. no curtain.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is lovely, with charming rooms. It's a fantastic choice for families with kids, and the pool is definitely a highlight. While some aspects of the place are starting to show signs of age, overall, we had a wonderful time and would still recommend it to anyone visiting Hiriketiya.

The only thing that didn’t quite match the boutique resort feel was the restaurant, which had more of a canteen-style vibe. However, this was just our personal opinion, and it didn’t take away from our overall experience.

All the staff members were very friendly, welcoming, generous and helpful. We wanted to go up a floor, and the staff arranged a room for us the next day without any problem. The food was of excellent quality. And the room is magical - we chose the room without air conditioning, the balcony is completely open, from which dozens of coconut trees and the sky can be seen. In the morning and in the evening we watched the monkeys come to eat from the coconut.

It's not something to improve - you just need to know that the hotel is located a little out of the way. There is a short climb to do. It can also be an advantage for those looking for quiet

Lovely place, we loved the open-air rooms with the view to the jungle. The pool was great to cool down during the day. Walking distance to the surf point break. Nice buffet breakfast with plenty of options mixing Sri Lankan and western food. Many monkeys going around close to the pool which is fun to see.

Yoga schedule was a bit limited with no yoga during the weekend.

The location is amazing, our open air room was lovely, we enjoyed relaxing in the pool garden, and the yoga studio and classes were excellent

There wasn’t really anything to dislike. Some of the staff weren’t amazingly helpful but it wasn’t necessarily a problem, we just had to use a lot of our own knowledge of things to try and get information out of them.

Loved the location (just a minute away from Raa and less than a 5 minute walk to Hiriketiya beach). The pool is also lovely, and breakfast was great. The rooms were basic, but clean.

Best place I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka and so worth the price. The room was beautiful with open windows overlooking the sea and pool, it has an outdoor bathroom and they provide you with a personal tea and coffee set. The breakfast is free, varied and delicious and they offer great yoga classes throughout the day and week.

Set back just enough from the buzz of beachgoers, Jasper House is in a truly lovely location. Our bedroom was beautiful, and the staff were friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful with every need. Hiriketiya is a mini paradise escape, and Jasper House is the perfect place to stay.

We had an amazing 6 night stay at Jasper House. It was a short walk from the beach and so very quiet with beautiful coconut trees. Kasin, the manager, and staff are so kind and friendly. They always clean the place. During the stay, we visited several restaurants in this area including the famous one, but the Jasper House restaurant on the top floor was undoubtedly the best. We really enjoyed surfing here and will definitely stay at Jasper House nest time.

Like most other Sri Lanka hotel rooms our room was open air. There were mosquito attacks though Jasper House provided electric mosquito coil.

Loved the coastal acoustics. The deluxe open air room , the pool, free breakfast was a great selection of local cuisine. So tasty. Lovely big open dining area. Location in amongst coconut Grove. You have options on-site or nearby. Yoga, surf, swimming & spa.
