Simply peace means truly peace. Our host, Suresh made sure that every wish became true. I became 35 during my stay and he and the crew made sure that my day would be special. I'm grateful for being here during this special day. From the cleaning to the food everything was 5 stars! Breakfast is incredible. Nice rooms and very comfortable beds. The pool and the view over the lake made our days memorable 😍 If the owner of the hotel reads this, the crew definitely deserves a big kudos! 😊 The service was over the top! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.

As mentioned before it was simply peace untill the gardener started cutting the grass for 6 hours straight, we know this has to be done but on a place where there is not much to do besides relax and be on the pool, it was a bit disturbing. As we had an electrical kettle it would be nice to have some coffee or tea in the room. Not all room had warm water in the shower. Nevertheless 5 stars 👍🏽🌟

The chalet was great, very large and clean. Loved the use of polished concrete on the floor and furniture. The pool was very clean and a good size. Overall a great place to stay and very relaxing. The location overlooking the lagoon was stunning too - so many birds and amazing to wake up to the call of kingfishers.

Food for dinner was ok, a very large portion but not the best food we’ve eaten in Sri Lanka by a long way. Not being able to pay by card is a big drawback, if staying multiple nights it’s difficult to withdraw enough money from ATMs due to the daily limit. ATMs are also hit and miss if they have enough cash to withdraw.

If we could give an eleven, we would. Great staff, 👍. excellent pool and villas. Clean, complete and beautiful view. Restaurant serves a great meal for a really good price (best curry I had so so far) and also the included breakfast was more than enough and perfect. Really good coffee as well (breakfast & room). The manager Suresh and his personnel will help you with anything you need. And the dogs (proxy, cola and rocky) and cat. (Pepsi) are really nice and protective of all the guests. Lots of peacocks on the property as well !

Location doesn’t have a lot nearby, but 5 to 6 km away by tuktuk there are nice beaches and places to go like silent beach, hiriketiya and tangalle.

There are no things we did not like about the property.

Everything was great, super chill, rooms are simple and modern! Very relaxing and tranquil spot! Make sure to stay here!! Food was simple and good( huge portions!) juices were amazing! The territory of the property is well maintained and the coconut trees are simply gorgeous! Doggies, the cool cat and the pool is a huge bonus! Also thank you for helping me and my sister when she got a mild sun stroke! The ice pack and your assistance was super helpful!! I would come back to this place in a heartbeat!

Nothing! Just be mindful the you need to walk to beach.

A fantastic place to relax by the fabulous pool overlooking the lagoon with spectacular sunsets. Very peaceful, great accommodation, very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, in spacious individual bungalows. Food was really good and very reasonably priced. The manager Suresh was so helpful, was able to arrange a driver to take us to Galle for a great price and all the staff were truly lovely. Just a few minutes walk from the property is the beautiful natural beach. There are a couple of very small local restaurants which also serve great seafood, curries etc, Sea Dragon on the beach and Cocktails just off the beach.

The only improvement would be some comfortable seating for resting in the bungalow but don't let this put you off. This place is simply peace.

It was really enjoyable and a pleasure to be there. I was living surrounded by pure nature, a picturesque lagoon, monkeys, birds of paradise, and fireflies. It was magic! It was a really comfortable room, the people were very kind to me, they always made sure I was comfortable and happy, they helped me. All I needed to calm my soul.

Beautifully designed and super clean bungalows situated in a large, well kept garden and surrounded by even more greenery, with superb lagoon-view sunsets. It is located in a very tranquil area, so it is really peaceful, but if you are up for some nightlife, you can find plenty of it 10-15 mins by scooter or tuk tuk. The place has a small restaurant too, with selection of truly tasty dishes - it was the only place where we ate dinner more than once, and not out of laziness but because we really enjoyed it. Super tasty breakfast also. All made out of fresh ingredients and they will accommodate any dietary needs, be it vegan, lactose-free, you name it. And truly the best, which probably made our stay so memorable, was the nicest and friendliest staff you can imagine. They will make sure that you've got everything to fully enjoy your holiday without any hassle, and organise anything from tuk tuk to a nearby restaurant to a safari trip. I highly recommend this place, and will also likely return, because Simply Peace is simply amazing! 🙂

The facilities are amazing! It‘ a perfect spot for relaxing, reading and enjoying a day at the pool. The staff was exeptional nice and kind. Especially Suresh was reachable every minute, organised food platters and drinks, Tuk Tuk drivers and drove us to our next stay while no other driver was available. Breakfast was huge and delicious.

There is no private pool as mentioned on every room. It’s only one but a very nice and clean pool. We were lucky only two other guests stayed at the same time, so we almost had a „private pool“. This should be corrected on the room details

It was incredible stay for us, especially experience on lagoon going throught lotus fields and watching sunset and bats was non-transferable experience. Also Mawella beach and little fisherman harbour had unforgettable poetics.And also it is impossible not to mension very comfortable beds in bungalows and very friendly and always helpful staff.Thank you, Suresh!
