We had a wonderful time here, staying in a cabana for three weeks. The resort is located on a beautiful private beach. All the staff members were very kind and helpful, we had fantastic service. We received help with organizing the trips and they made sure that we got breakfast to take away, even if we were not staying at the resort. The food was very tasty in the main restaurant and the pool restaurant as well. The cabanas were amazing, cleaned every day the fan was enough, no ac needed. The wifi is strong, even for online work. Everything was given to make us feel fantastic, we want to come back again, we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The location is perfect! It is so close to the beach and the garden is beautiful too with peakocks walking in it. You can hear the sound of the ocean! :) The cabanas are very spacious and they have a lovely vibe. The staff is kind and helpful as well! Some of the soups we tried very tasty!

The shower was broken in our cabana, so either steming hot water or two drops of cold water was coming. Replacing the tap would be a very good idea and doesnt cost much. Also there is a gap between the walls and the roof, so the last night some animal came in and it was quite hard to sleep knowing that it is messing around and it is searching for food in your stuff. The staff came immediately but there is nothing much you can do about it in the middle of the night. Putting up a grid could easily solve it. The previous night a bat flew in but it left almost immediately.

I will have a long review but is very important! My recommendation is to book the villas. The villas and the cabanas are 2 different locations separated by a green yard , unified in one name, with separate owners. The villas are more updated and the restaurant / pool area is nice, the food is good and tasty, we had a great time with the kids at the pool! Please be aware that the property has a road to the beach, but they not own the beach space - so you will find only local food from the villagers.

The villas are nicely designed and we had a great time. The only bad things i could mention is the cleaning in bathrooms .. a lot of mold on the sink, is a pity not to clean better. And the laundry service - we gave them some clothes and all the white were delivered dark grey! The breakfast is ok but is every day the same- no buffet- fruits, omelette or fried eggs - just as an info, for us was ok. The place is a great botanical garden with beautiful peacocks everywhere. And another thing - there are 2 restaurants -the one from the cabanas and the one from the villas! Please do not make the mistake to eat or take an All inclusive buffet at the cabanas restaurant! we ate there only on time - a la carte- and the food is horrible! please, please, eat at the pool restaurant!

Palm paradise was amazing! Mr Rohan and the staff were excellent and couldn’t do more for us. Our room was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. Beautiful location and beach was lovely. Lovely clean peaceful pool with plenty of sunbeds. They look after the 5 dogs and a couple of cats which stay there which is lovely and they’re all very friendly. As animal lovers it’s so nice to have them around. A few peacocks about too which are stunning! Such a beautiful place. Easy to get around too as there are Tuk Tuk drivers outside the property always ready when you need them. They too are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful four-night stay on one of the spacious villa rooms. Fabulous location right behind the stunning Goyambokka beach, only a minute’s walk through the palm grove – a little slice of paradise. The hotel grounds are extensive and beautifully kept, and we loved spotting the local wildlife while walking through the grove (monkeys, peacocks, hornbills, kingfishers, barbets, monitor lizards etc.). Great food at served at both restaurants, we particularly the authentic Sri Lankan dishes and fresh seafood. Our room was cleaned daily and kept spotless, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The manager helped arrange a kayak tour of the lagoon and transport to our next accommodation, which was much appreciated.

The property was located well, close to many restaurants. The breakfasts were good and we enjoyed the Christmas seafood dinner there for an additional $30US/person. The staff were very accommodating. The cabanas are rustic but very large and comfortable. Even though there is no glass or screens on the windows, between the fans in the room and the breeze from outside we remained comfortable the entire stay. The natural setting and wildlife on the property was really beautiful.

We had an infestation of ants when we arrived but the cleaning man took care of them right away. One of the bars on the beach (unrelated to this resort) on Christmas Eve night had a banger of a party with really loud music and fireworks until 2AM and it was hugely annoying. You just also be very cautious of swimming on the beach here as the waves get really large and drag you under quickly. Not ideal if you love swimming in the ocean like me.

It is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. We stayed for 10 days. Previously we stayed in a room, this time we rented a villa. The staff at the bar is very polite and accommodating, they took really good care of us and tried to find a solution to every request, like changing breakfast (from Sri Lankan to continental, etc). We really appreciate it! The location of the hotel is very nice, right at the beach and the facilities are very decent for the price - villa, pool, breakfast, etc. Since we came back we had clearly good reasons to so we do recommend the place!

The cleaning staff was a bit awkward this time. Every day we had exactly the same routine of trips/ beach and every day they would still knock on the door asking when they should come. The fan in the villa broke suddenly - they replaced it the same day but the new fan was so noisy, we could not use it.

We had stayed in the villas and like the cabanas, they are nestled in plush nature. The sound of waves crashing the shores from the beach a few minutes walk away is so calming in the midst of an ambience that is very healing to the soul. The staff all around were exceptional. Shout-out to Pathirana, the Restaurant Manager, who made sure all our meals were looked into with special care and also making us feel at home. Another Shout-out to Chellana, who took us around for trips and sightseeing. Special Shout-Out to the manager, Rohan , who took care of us like family which made our stay at Paradise feel like home! Rohan’s hospitality took the experience we had to the next level. - Thank you so much, Rohan!

Amazing vibe and ambience. Sri Lanka style in huts and restaurant and perfect location by a really nice beach with quite few people and big waves for bodysurfing and small kids jumping (wearing swimvests). Be aware that there is a big difference between villas and cabanas. Cabanas are cheaper and more simple - restaurant less ‘international’ but better food and service compared to the villas where you can get more ‘western food’ and more comfortable beds in houses with aircon but a less authentic experience.

The waves are really loud in the cabanas. Also dogs had a fight throughout the night.

Although it's a fairly large resort the spacious quiet gardens and spaced villas gave us a sense of privacy. The location is great, with easy access to explore Goyambokka beach, Rocky beach, Silent beach and the beautiful rock formations in between. A very nice and relaxing place to stay.

The very dark and office-like reception area + formal check-in process were somewhat reminiscent of airport immigration checkpoints, but once we got over that hurdle we had a great time. First experiences are important, it would be wise to make a few changes and inject some colour, light, and lightness into the check-in process.
