This beautiful hotel is a 25-minute walk from the centre of Ella, offering stunning views over a lush valley. The sunrises here are truly spectacular. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Breakfast is great, and the rooms are clean and spacious. While there’s no air conditioning, the ceiling fan does an excellent job of keeping the room cool in the temperate climate of Ella. The road leading up to the hotel can be a bit muddy during rainy weather and has an uphill slope, but it’s manageable. At night, the path may not be well-lit, though you’ll still feel safe walking.

PLACE We really liked the fact that this place it’s a bit far from the city center (15min walk with quite narrow road - not so steep I could easily do it couple times and Im not fit person ;) which make it quite place with a beautiful view on little Adam’s peak- you can look at the sunrise from your bed (!!!) Still next to the property you can find couple of bars and restaurants and cooking class and laundry place. You can also enjoy very tasty Sri Lanka ( or English) breakfast with this stunning view. PEOPLE Smiling and very friendly stuff, you can approach them with any favor and they will help.

This place has an amazing view, with the sounds of birds in the morning and every now and the monkeys passed the place. From the bed you're able to see the sun rising in the morning very special! The manager and the owner are very kind and made my stay very special. Next to helping to organize interesting day trips they offered help when I needed it as something hard happened in my private life. They listened to what I needed and supported me in different ways (like going with me to the village, even offering help in Kandy or Colombo). A big thank you for that! The manager arranged tuktuk transport with very friendly drivers and he is a great cook by the way! The room was clean and big enough. It has a table and some seats inside and at the terrace. So I recommend this place from he bottom of my heart!

Lovely little place tucked away in peace and quiet yet just 10-15 min walk to Ella’s main road of restaurants and shops. Simple decor. Bed has just a sheet but blankets were provided on request. Good shower with consistent hot water. Lovely balcony with incredible views of the valley. Friendly staff. Great choice for breakfast. There is a great bar just opened next door that does lovely cocktails and some snacks.

Everything was lovely with our stay

The room is basic but has all you need, there is a wide door access directly to the front garden. The upper level rooms have a nice view of the valley. The caretaker was extremely kind, and waited for me when I arrived super late. The owner was also very helpful and available online. The bed was comfortable, and the shower nice and clean. Water pressure was pretty decent too. Location is not too far from town, if you walk along the track. The last stretch is extremely dark at night though, so at night you'll probably need a rickshaw.

There is no window in the room that can be open, as the front wall is a door. No shortage of daylight, but fresh air at night is a problem.

Indran is the manager on site and he is so helpful. He would bring us tea in the afternoon, assisted with tuk tuks when it was raining. Laundry service was not working but arranged laundry at a nearby Guesthouse as well as transport via private to Udawalawe National Park. Breakfast was great in the morning and the view spectacular overlooking the valley and Little Adam's Peak. Bed was comfortable. Great recommendations for dinner at Cafe Chill...we ate there at every meal! Bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay here. Room was clean with a stunning view of Little Adam’s Peak. Nice walk via the train tracks to Ella (around a 15 minute walk). Great wifi in the room, hot water, kind staff and the breakfast was the best breakfast we have had in Sri Lanka… Ask for the rotti and dhal curry, AMAZING! Indran, our friendly host, couldn’t have been any better and even arranged a TukTuk for us to go to the train station after our stay. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better accommodation in Ella… Don’t hesitate to book! :)

No hair dryer No Safe Not usual to have pick-me service or available tuk-tuks to take you directly to the city center so you'll have to walk for about 15-20Mins. " Eventhough the walking in that area was cool and good exercise to do 😄 "

Amazing view of surrounding hillsides and valley, serene, soft sound of the train adding to the great vibe. We drove up, they have a carpark up on roadside. Indran our host was gracious, I really liked his kindness, great cooking, helpfulness and calming nature. He walked us up to the shortcut so we could walk to nearby waterfall. I loved this place. We ran 4 devices off the WiFi with no problem and enjoyed the hot baths and sitting on the patio drinking tea.

Amazing view from the terrace, super attentive and kind staff - they are very responsive and will help you with everything. The rooms are nice and clean, you can start the Ella Rock hike from here going along the train tracks

Maybe the bathrooms could use a little refreshing
