The breakfast here is something you’ll remember. Traditional Sri Lankan dishes made fresh and served in the garden. The coconut roti and dhal were the best I had in Ella. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Just a short walk to both Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arches Bridge. We even caught the train passing by at the bridge, which was magical. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Loved relaxing on the balcony with a cup of tea after hiking. This place was perfect for a quiet couple’s getaway. Surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views and just a short walk to all the scenic spots in Ella.

I had the chance to stay at Samadhi Nature Resort in Ella during the April New Year season, and overall, it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. The room was simple but clean and well-kept. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a short stay. I especially appreciated the natural views right from the window sounds of birds and the cool Ella breeze was a lovely bonus. The staff was warm, helpful, and very polite, even though it was the busy New Year season. They made sure I was comfortable and were always available to help with directions or requests. Their hospitality felt genuine and added to the charm of the place. The meals were freshly prepared, with a homely, local touch. For next vacation too I am planning to visit here. Anybody who looking for peaceful environment I highly recommend this place.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this place, and I can’t recommend it enough! The owner is truly amazing—she makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. She serves a delicious, locally-sourced breakfast every morning and is always happy to share tips on things to do and places to visit nearby. The beds are large and comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The owner is not only kind but also very helpful, always ready to assist with anything you need. I really felt like I was staying with a friend. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and a memorable experience.

Just spent 3 nights here The location was really good.. outside the noisy center but easy to walk in and out or take a 2 min tuk.tuk . The room was huge . Two double beds with really good mosquito nets , with a balcony or terrace all around. The view was of the beautiful garden and trees which were occupied by so much wildlife. Loved sitting g on the terrace watching the small squirrels and the giant grey squirrel just next to us. Also had lots of birds including the grey hornbills. The lady owner was so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were huge ..: bowls of fresh fruit , dahl, jam , hoppers coconut breads , toast .. all delicious . No AC was needed as on top of small hill so lovely evening breeze . Great shower with hot water too. Kettle , hair drier and small fridge in rhe room . .

Nothing ... Maybe a cushion or two extra for the seats outside .

I had a wonderful stay at Samadhi Nature Resort. The location is perfect just a short walk to Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, and other scenic spots in Ella. I loved starting my mornings with their delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast fresh, flavorful, and served in such a calm setting.The atmosphere was so relaxing, and after a day of exploring, I even treated myself to an Ayurvedic spa nearby, which was the perfect way to unwind. If you're looking for a peaceful stay close to Ella’s best attractions, this is the place!

The Owner greeted us like family with a fresh tea upon arrival - she made us feel very welcomed. The place has a beautiful view and we spotted so many animals like the hornbill and the giant squirrel and so many birds. The rooms are large and provide everything you need. The location is also great to see the main attractions in Ella.

Everything was fine, but please note that you have to carry your luggage a steep way/ some stairs. The facilities in our room were a bit older, but clean so it was okay for us.

The nature around the place is so stunning. The rooms facing mountain views and massive trees, a massive cinnamon tree more than hundreds of years ago coming underneath the building structure—it's like I’m in a little tree hut, It was a very quiet and peaceful stay, , I could sleep enough to move into an energetic day. It’s close to the main attractions of Ella; the little Adana and nine arches are only a few minutes away. There are cool pubs and restaurants around, Tasty homemade breakfast mixed with Sri Lankan style English breakfast. Parking available.

I had an amazing stay at Samadhi Nature Resort in Ella! The breakfast was delicious, with fresh local ingredients and a great variety of options. The location is perfect—it's close to the main attractions in Ella, yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful atmosphere. The view from the guesthouse is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning sights of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Samantha is a sincere and attentive host. She was always available to provide us with ideas for activities like a local waterfall where we could bathe, directions to little Adam’s peak and 9 arch bridge. The two latter are a short walk and hike from her accomodation. We travelled with our 4 and 6 year old and the location was a walk or tuk tuk away from the Main Street which has countless restaurants. The location of this property is beautiful. It is on the hill side and surrounded by tropical gardens. We saw squirrels in the trees and butterflies. No issue with insects or mozzies. I didn’t see a single mozzie so it was far more hospitable than my place in Newcastle, Australia. Breakfast exceeded expectations. We chose the Sri Lankan option. The kids loved the meals. We enjoyed Ceylon tea and coffee with cardamom. Food was fresh, local and organic. I highly recommend this accomodation if you are looking for a tropical oasis and enjoy nature walks. It was great to get some exercise in for us and not need to pay for activities given we could enjoy the hikes to 9 arch bridge and little Adam’s Peak. We would not consider staying anywhere else when we return.
