Nisham and his family are the most welcoming, kind and friendly hosts you will ever meet. We felt like family by the time we left. Our newly renovated deluxe room for the week was quiet, spacious and spotless, including the large bathroom with no unpleasant odors or mould. We stayed on the top floor overlooking lush greenery and the cleanest pool in Sri Lanka. The beds were comfortable with clean white cotton sheets and the room had all the usual hotel items. Mini fridge, kettle and room safe. Air con worked well. Outside each room is a comfortable sitting area and towel drying rack. A bonus on each level is the shared kitchen with all your cooking equipment needs, crockery, full size fridge if you feel like cooking a meal or mixing a cocktail and also a dining table and chairs. Another welcome bonus is the free washing machine. Tuk Tuk only costs about (@USD$2) to the centre of Hikkaduwa with all the restaurants, bars, shops and noise.

The dog next door barks a lot which is no fault of Villa Goodwill Paradise. Sunlounges around the pool could do with som cushions. If your thing is hanging at the beach all day everyday, the nearest beach is a 10 min walk away or 25 min to Turtle Beach WiFi can be a bit hit and miss.

- It was close to the beach - comfy bed - aircon + fan - clean - secure - the staff were really friendly and nothing is too much of an ask - we were given complimentary breakfast on new years day (not included in our booking) as it was Sri Lankan tradition and it was really nice!

- Whilst it was clean, the single bed which we did not use had a fair bit of ants however this was the morning of us leaving although we may not have noticed earlier as it had a our backpacks on with all the packing cubes. - There is a dog that barks a lot but I don't think there's much to be done there.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and big room, comfortable bed, nice and big bathroom. And the terrace - wow - you really feel like in paradise while relaxing and listening to the birds singing. The place is located in the forest - very quiet and peaceful, but at the same time only 5 minutes walk to the nice beach. For the breakfast at Villa Goodwill, we had a chance to taste local food and it was fresh and tasty 👌 The owner and the staff are super nice and friendly. If we come back to Hikkaduwa, we will definitely stay here again.

One of best places we were staying during our 2,5 week in Sri Lanka. Very clean, very comfortable. No mold, good working air condition and air ventilation in bathroom. Outside the room place for hanging clothes to get them dry, I very appreciated it in this climate with this humidity. Great place to stay bit longer then one night as we did. Clean pool. Comfortable bed, clean and white bedsheets, desk for makeup, very nice room. Totally recommend. Good location, nearby great massage centre (also recommend!), shops with variety of tropical fruits, and of course - beautiful sandy beaches. I will miss this place! We had wonderful relaxing time there.

The comfort of this place is amazing. Mr. Manawadu and his son Nishan takes care their guest as family and fulfill the needs at their level best. So is the staff. The facilities of this place is simply amazing. The property has everything that needs as a guest and has no boundaries. The cleanliness is simply great and the staff takes care of the place very tidy. I enjoyed my stay with my family at Villa goodwill Paradise. Thank you again Mr. Manawadu and Nishan Manawadu. Nothing at all

Very family-friendly hotel. The rooms were big and clean. Clean pool. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, and bread. Siri, the owner, and his staff were friendly and the service provided were way above our expectations. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back.

Great location close to the beach, and many redtaurants and bars. Also a little off the road so it’s quiet at night which is great. Pool is nice, and the showers are amazing! Recently renovated and very comfortable.

The staff were TOO friendly and nice!!! Kidding of course, it was lovely here and nothing to complain about :)

Peaceful location. The owner and the staff are amazing people, always ready to help you with whatever you need. Very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are perfect and very clean. It is like a 5 star hotel room. You have a nice patio/balcony in front of your door where you can sit, relax and enjoy the peacefullness of the location.

Very friendly staff did their best to help us. The caretaker was so so so friendly and gave us a very warm feeling right away. Also the owner stayed jn touch and provided us all the information we needed prior to our stay. Clean rooms and spacious bathroom wich was very nice. Sweet ladies in the kitchen that made breakfast and a beautiful pool.

The standard of this hotel is international: the infrastructure, the finishes, the amenities, the pool.... I have the impression that the owners have many years of experience working in the hotel business, because the details are very well cared for. The price is 100% worth it.
