Everything went well! I came for 2 nights as a stop in Colombo on my way to Arugam Bay. It was above my expectations. The room was large, with a balcony offering a view of the sea and pool. Very clean. The pool was clean and nice to swim. The staff was so nice, warm, and friendly, and they helped with everything I needed. They sent me a driver to take me from the airport. The food was great and tasty. The place is quiet and you can take a walk on the beach straight from the hotel garden. I didn't go around in the neighborhood because I didn't stay in Colomco, so I don't know if the location for traveling is good, but for my own purpose, it was perfect for me. Thank you for the amazing hosting, I'm sure I'll get back there on my way back. highly recommended.

From start to finish Joseph and his staff looked after us all very well. We felt very safe and very much at home. Every breakfast and evening meal Patrick looked after us like royalty Fresh fruit and deliciously cooked meals were always served outdoor looking onto the Indian Ocean. The chef was terrific. One could not ask for anything more. Real Paradise, A beautiful clean swimming pool was also there if it got too hot. Rooms and bathroom ensuites were spacious and clean. The hotel was in a great location. The peace and quite here was most welcome. Privacy of the place was also great. Joseph helped us getting an auto rickshaw to local cities, Negombo or Colombo......incredible and memorable sight seeing. Close distance to International Airport was also an added bonus of this hotel. I could not recommend this place - The Beach Boutique , in Uswetakeiyawa - highly enough. People make places . Joseph and his staff pay great attention to detail, and in doing so gave me one of the best memorable holidays I am ever likely to experience.

Used this hotel for overnight stay prior to airport departure early next morning. Arrived late, but great that the kitchen was still open. Enjoyed a reasonable meal and the hotel looked very nice and beachside at the back with an attractive swimming pool. Room was comfortable and was advertised with Wifi. This was very spotty and unreliable and basically didn't work at all for a few hours.

This hotel is still a fair way away from the airport. Allow plenty of time to get there with traffic. During our 1 evening there, a business document needed to be sent. Despite best efforts it took a number of hours to get the WiFi to work reliably.

The place was great unfortunately as I had to attend a meeting only could spent a few hours although I booked a night and planned to check out the next day. Room was clean and comfortable. A Pensive location doesn’t look busy or interrupted by oozing crowds. It was close to the Colombo airport and we were waiting to receive a friend, so even though it was not on leisure and was a quick stop to rest awhile before the departure, I liked the short stay made here

I’ve been to this property before and what brought me back is the location and the pleasantness experienced before . I think the management has changed since and the property is showing few parts wear and tear especially in the common areas . But the staff remains lovely . We came in pretty late in the evening and the manager had informed the staff well and check in was a breeze .

A few maintenance issues seem evident ; such as the elevator not working and the walls by the pool showing a lot of water damage which need to be looked after

Nice accommodation, the rom was big enough, pool in the hotel area was great. You can go directly to the beach. Hotel is about 20 minutes ride from airport. We can have airport transport and early check in so it was very good benefit after long flight.

It is in the middle of nowhere. It is not possible to enter the sea here (safety reasons)

The property is fairly close to the airport. You can used an Uber or ask for a transfer. It’s quite new and clean. The pool is also nice and big. The beach cannot be accessed but the view from the hotel is nice and pleasant. Food was good although slightly expensive for the country. Room is spacious with wifi and international channels. All in one, that’s a convenient place for a one stop before flying out or moving elsewhere.

Not much to complain about

Lovely tranquil hotel with very attentive staff overlooking the beach. Best pool of our entire month in Sri Lanka. Food cooked fresh to order. Strong currents mean you are advised not to swim in the sea. Lovely rooms. Easy transfer to airport and close enough to do day trip to Colombo.

We booked for two nights night as we had a 28hr layover at Colombo, the staff were up waiting for us to check in at 5am and were very friendly, we slept most of the day so missed breakfast and checked out early so missed the breakfast the next day so they insisted that our food dinner was complimentary. They also organised our car back to the airport at 4am the next day! Room was huge and clean and comfortable.

We highly recommend The Beach Boutique. We had 4 days to land and relax. We experienced a very high level of service, good rooms, and great food. The owner drove us to the nearest tuk tuk when we couldn't find one, he even lent us money so we could exchange it in town. Everyone was so sweet, helpful, smiling, and friendly.
