We loved everything about Morning Star. Pratham and Ronnie (plus all staff) were professional, accommodating with top end customer services. The place itself was very clean, quiet and satisfying. I want to highlight that my husband left his 2 phones in the room we were in and he probably realized it after a week. He called Pratham and asked him to look for it. They checked everything and finally when they found them, Pratham called us to give the good news. Now we are in the process of getting the phones back to the UK. They have been superb.

The hotel is situated away from the busy street and is very quiet. The manager speaks proper English and was very kind, as was his wife and staff. They adjusted breakfast to our kid's wishes. Room was spacious with all we needed. We were picked up at the Airport by Ivan, a helpfull and nice guy and all according to plan. The swimmingpool was ideal to cool down while adjusting to the climate.

The hotel is at the far end of Negombo. Beaches are not greet to see (we knew) and the "centre" was a 30min walk. Restaurants are closer by though, or take a tuktuk.

It is a cute place, kept everything in order, clean, well maintained. As you enter you have a lovely lady welcoming you with smile and the manager who is going to make sure your entire stay in memorable. He even drafted out our entire trip and we are eventually following his trip idea right now. The other team members are adorable, they just want to help everyone. If you go to the fish market and buy fish, they can cook for you too :-) we did that. Really a good team. So far the best stay in Srilanka.

This hotel is a 15 minute drive outside of the main bit of Negombo which is actually perfect as it's close enough to pop there easily but a lot more peaceful. The resort itself is small but lovely. Very green and peaceful. Beds are super comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. A wonderful start to our trip in Sri Lanka!

We loved the stay in the property. The room was nice, the garden beautiful and our kids loved the swimming pool. Also it has a nice location, close to the beach and center. The staff was very friendly and we had e really nice stay.

It would have been nice to have some mosquito net in the room. Also the driver for the airport transfer was late. But after contacting the property they arranged it fast.

Lovely huts set in a beautiful garden, with nice pool. The hosts are the best we had in Sri Lanka, service was excellent. They were happy to give advice on things to do, and booked us a friendly driver. Breakfast was good.

Be prepared that due to the nature of the huts, it can be very noisy. You can hear every person/animal/rain storm outside

Lovely clean rooms set around lush gardens in a quiet area. Excellent staff who were always on hand and helped organise transport and trips. Small pool with shallow area for kids.

All was great.

The hotel was spotless and welcoming, with friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, a great breakfast, and a great location. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and enjoyable.

Nothing, it met my expectations.

Perfect hotel to arrive after long flight and recover energies to explore the country. Rooms where simple with ventilation and AC. Bathroom was spacious but warm. Good English and Sri Lanka breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful with indications where to go next

everything, it s a peaceful place, back of the street so you are in calm. a lovely garden with birds and squirrels, a big swimming pool. all the hotel is renovate, the bedroom is big and very clean. in the barhroom you have a view of the sky that is appreciable. you ll need around 800 rps to go to the city center and only 5 mins by walk to find some good restaurants. the best was all the staff who were so kind and always there for us. we would recommand this place 100%
