The property was much bigger and better than I had envisaged and the customer service we received was exceptional.

The fact that there was a big event going on which occupied most of the beach area and so we could not use it.

I had a wonderful stay here. The beach is very beautiful and peaceful. My room was clean, spacious and fairly comfortable as the bed was a little old and on the hard side. The restaurant food was delicious and fairly priced, I recommend trying one of their local curries. The hotel location is perfect and on the main road with a variety of shops and cafes. I would recommend to anyone for a short stay close to the airport. Good for couples or solo travellers.

The bed needs a softer mattress

The fact that all the staff went out if their way to make you happy and comfortable. Very attentive. Very quick. And most importantly they did their best to fulfill ur wishes. Example they arranged an egg hopper stand for me...though it wasnt in their schedual. I highly appriciate that. Stutty to all of them❤️🙏

Honestly, there wasnt anything major that i didnt like. Their were some miss understandings on the booking menu which was linked to booking.com and not the hotel regarding the charges. But again when we pointed it out to the hotel. They acknowlegded it and applied the reduces charge for us.

Everything was fantastic! Rooms, pools, breakfast, staff, helpfulness (room service and porters all wonderfully fast and responsive), smiley reception staff (especially Pradeep), the dogs, the beach, the hospitality when we turned up at 4am with check in not officially due for another 10hours (but they let us camp out in lobby and then got us our rooms by 9am). A fantastic welcome to Sri Lanka.

Breakfast was not that great for vegetarians and it was monotonous for all the days except Saturday where I saw an extra dish - Dosa with chutneys. Could have been better

Same breakfast everyday. However, its okay for non-vegetarians. Hotel chef should change the menus often to add more varieties. Other than that, property was good and enjoyed the stay

The ocean view from the room was stunning and the beach is meters away. The lunch and dinner were cheap in comparison to other outlets, generously portioned, and very tasty. We walked around that area exploring other nearby hotel restaurants and this was the best - it was lively, bright, and even had live music for lunch.

The breakfast was very average.

Nice room lovely view. Pool was great. Most of the staff were very helpful.

Some of the bar and dining staff were very short with you. On one occasion I wanted to pour my own beer which nearly led to a wrestling match with the waiter. Asked reception to print out boarding passes. They gave me an email for reception but the email box was full and they did not know how to clear it. Evening Buffet was average and very expensive. More than a much better buffet in the Galle Face Hotel.

Solid hotel, ideal for the airport if you have an early or late flight. Decent facilities and some nice restaurants nearby

Staff took a lot of prompts to be helpful. I requested an airport transfer and the gentleman replied that the vehicle was booked (fair enough). I had to ask him if alternate timings were available and it took an hour to confirm. Also price to airport was extortionate - for reference it cost more for a 25 minute journey than it did to hire a driver for 8 hours in Colombo

Wonderful staff, nice clean hotel. Opens onto the beach. Nearby grocery store with shops and restaurants around. Lots of souvenir shops around as well (cheaper than in Galle). Would definitely recommend. The staff were all helpful and lovely

No dairy free/vegan options for milk. Would have been nice if breakfast was more varied for dairy free guests, therefore we did not try the breakfast but this won't stop us from coming again. Thank you

The room was very good and spacious but I think the bathroom needed a little uplift ,the shower was a bit old and would not stay in one position and the sealant round the edge was a little black, I did report an accident I had in the bedroom with my leg hitting the corner of the bed I had quite a nasty leg while I was staying in the hotel the front desk said they would deal with the matter after looking at my leg buy I heard nothing after that.we have been to Is Lanka 5 times but never in September
