The location and sea views were really great. All the rooms face the sea and the balconies are great places to chill and watch the fishermen sail their catamarans. The rooms are spacious and well- furnished. The hotel is contiguous with the newer Jetwing Beach property that has an Olympic size swimming pool. Jetwing Blue has two great outdoor pools too. The gym is well equipped. The breakfast menu is great, and the staff at the live counters are efficient and friendly. All the staff appear happy to be working at this place. This welcoming nature is seen right from the reception desk (especially from the customer relationship head🙏), right to the ground-staff. Happy staff with smiling faces make for happy guests. The location is also great for access to local restaurants. The Jetwing street food grill is cool, and dont miss the Lord's restaurant complex- there front looks deceptively quiet but there is a really chill restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating at the rear, with great food and drinks and good music. Odel has a nice Luv Sl outlet across the hotel, and a bigger outlet in Negombo proper; other shopping is also within walking or Tuk-Tuk distance. Jetwing Blue is a great place to stay in Negombo, either when you arrive in Colombo or before you depart.

Fans in the balconies would've been great.

We stayed at Jetwing Blue with our 10-month-old baby and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating throughout. Our baby was always smiling when we went to the pool, the restaurant, or even just walking around — a real testament to the welcoming atmosphere. Ben, the guest relations manager, regularly checked in to make sure we were well looked after. Because of this, I would happily rate the service 5/5. The pool was clean and well looked after, with attentive lifeguards keeping an eye on everyone, especially young children. There were plenty of sun beds, though many were in the shade. The food was excellent, offering both Western and Sri Lankan options at all meals. We enjoyed every meal and would rate the food 5/5.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, but some areas would benefit from renovation — especially the bathrooms and the corridor lighting at night. Overall, we were very comfortable, but I felt the rates were a bit high given the current room standard. I’d rate the room 4/5.

Welcoming staff and airy , spacious entrance lobby . I was lucky to get a free upgrade to my deluxe bedroom booking while I waited to get access to my room as I arrived a bit early .Very clean , well designed property and prompt service. I enjoyed a re-fill of filtered water in glass bottles and more coffee bags to make hot drinks in my room. The room has excellent AC with WiFi and a terrace giving onto the sandy beach. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries . Breakfast buffet had plenty of choices . International Airport was only 25 mn away .

The swimming pools were busy . Particularly as the sea is rough , the main hotel pool has only a depth of 4 feet and had warm water.

Nice large and clean room. Not over cluttered. Good amenities. Check in was great. Very friendly, effortless and quick. Generally all staff were very friendly. Especially Sahalini (GRO). Very polite. And, Hemantha (Enviromemtalist), great tour and very knowlegable.

Food and Beverage could have been better. Every day at breakfast, I had to ask for a teaspoon to stir my coffee. Except on my last day. I asked for sugar and the waitress Barbara (I may have got the name incorrect) brought the teaspoon with the sugar. I asked for a plain 2 egg omelette and, got one with chili and onion. The plunge coffee could be better. Very strong and bitter taste. I normally drink black coffee with no milk / sugar, but I had to add sugar to damper the sharp taste. I dined 3 times at beach front restaurant. Food was good, but the sevice was poor. No staff on the floor, with the guests, all at the bar / back area. However, once the waiters come to the table, they were good.

Staff as usual were nice and helpful always with a smile. Check in was smooth and quick. The place is minimalistic but elegantly decorated Room spacious very clean with full amenities. Comfortable beds wide to fit 2 adults and 2 small children. One of the very few hotels that provides a French press and ground coffee in the rooms happy with a big 😀 Premise is well kept clean and taken care of. Breakfast was wonderful with sri Lankan dishes as well as continental breakfast enjoyed the traditional sri Lankan hopper They have 3 clean big pools This is not our first time at this hotel and defntly won't be our last

The location was fantastic, right on the beach yet close to the airport for a convenient stop over before flying. The rooms were big and clean and spacious with lovely sea views. There was a choice of several pools and the staff were really helpful and polite, particularly Roshel who gave us a personal tour of the whole complex when we arrived and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The Centre Point bar on the beach was lovely for an evening meal with a warm breeze coming off the ocean and the staff there (Chandinka and the young barman making cocktails) were very friendly and welcoming. Food was all excellent the children loved the pizzas!

Unfortunately there was a little concrete mixing / renovation work being carried out on the beach side of the hotel which spoiled the view and the peaceful ambience from the main restaurant a little.

It was a last-minute booking. The room was ready when we arrived at the property, and we were given a free upgrade to the superior room. Cot requested was set up as well. Rooms are as displayed in the photos, and the property is very close to the beach. Service was great - reception, room service, and housekeeping were all great. Non Asian food ( spaghetti , croquettes, etc) from the restaurent was nice.

Srilankan and Indian food from the restaurant was below average. We wanted clothes(wet from swimming) dried during the night as we had a flight next day morning, but was advised that laundry closes at 7pm. I assume this could have been organised considering its a 5 star stay.

Spacious room, friendly staff and nice food. A very nice place to start or end your journey in Sri Lanka or just stay just a couple of days. There is a nice pool, benches under palms and delicious meals are served with sea view. The staff is very friendly, very helpful and try to accommodate your wishes.

The price transparency is a continuous point of irritation. Often prices are quoted on a net basis without including the 10% surcharges plus around 20% taxes. This results in an unexpected 30% surcharge. Here the hotel really should reconsider its approach. Also, despite the great staff and services, the prices seem sometimes ambitious considering the Sri Lankan general salaries and price levels. A more competitive pricing could benefit the hotel by attracting more visitors.

Exceptional stay! From the friendly staff to the immaculate room and delicious breakfast, everything was perfect. The location was perfect for us, being so close to the catamaran departure point made our trip incredibly convenient. I want to give a special shout-out to Steffi, Gawesh, and Anuda. Their dedication and professionalism were truly remarkable. We would highly recommend your hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in the area, especially those planning to take a catamaran trip. Thank you for a memorable experience!

We stayed a couple of nights for a wedding and had a wonderful time. Our two kids loved the pool, plenty shallow space for a 5 yr old to swim without being held so the adults could relax with drinks by the pool. We loved having the beach at our doorstep. The food at the buffet was amazing as was the service. The rooms had lots of space and fitted with everything we needed.

The rooms were a little dated so some parts including the showers looked dirty although it was just worn out.
