Love, love, love! The villas themselves were beautiful, the staff were extremely kind, thoughtful and friendly. The setting made you feel as if you were in a forest and the facilities were great. The pool was a perfect size and temperature. It felt like a multiple star hotel in a jungle. The location was perfect and a short walk from a beautiful beach which you can have almost to yourselves. The Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent and dinner was consistently delicious. The value for money was incredible. Would recommend this place yo anyone in a heartbeat.

Friendly staff, nice gardens, great clean pool and the villa we rented (with AC) was comfortable. The breakfast (continental or Sri Lankan) was tasty and we can also recommend having dinner at the hotel in the evening: The rice and chicken curry was delicious. Not much to do in the immediate surroundings but excellent for relaxing at the pool for a couple of days. Passikudah beach is a tuk tuk ride away.

Location is a bit remote, with only Kalkudah beach around the corner (deserted beach, nice though). No comment on the hotel, but the area is extremely hot in August.

The property was lovely and low key. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food they cooked was amazing (especially the breakfast which was the best authentic SL breakfast we had all trip).

We loved that it was so low key with not much around, but others may want to keep that in mind - it is not close to much. Also, we will double check that we are booking an air con room next time (not the property's fault, we just forgot to check and you definitely do need more than just a fan).

​Aki Villa's location is beautiful, and the rooms are impressive: very large and they look amazing. However, we were disappointed with the level of cleanliness. Finding spiderwebs in the closets and ants in the room was a significant downside. We recommend paying more attention to this detail for future guests.

More attention to the cleanliness

Hard to specify what we liked most. We liked AKI VILLA! The location is 30 minutes walk from most hotels in Pasikuda but for us it was good with not many people around. The facility is very well maintained, it is very green. Lots of mango, coconut trees and palms on the territory. The pool is warm, very clean and welcoming :) We had breakfasts included - it was Sri Lankan type, very tasty and it was enough till dinner in the evening. Dinners we had there were one the best meals we ever had. So tasty. The lady that cooks all meals is fantastic. We even asked for some recipies. Beach - should I say- empty beach is just 7 minutes walk from villa. Most likely you will be accopanied by two lovely dogs from villa. And they will guard you as well if someone tries to come close to you. The staff - Mr. Vinod was extremely helpful, he helped us to get a medicine from local pharmacy, gave us a tent for the beach and tried to fullfill our every smallest wish. So if you want to have calm and peaceful time it is definately the place.

Almost nothing we disliked. Perhaps non AC villas are questionable as even with fan it is hot inside. Plus insects / bugs, frogs or lizards might be your neighbors at night. Not much to do when it gets dark. But that did not spoil our vacation

A beautiful oasis. Very clean and new-feeling location, felt private and quiet. The bedroom was extremely clean, the bed was big and very comfortable, bedding was great, the air conditioning was excellent, shower was great. Walking distance from Kalkudah beach (not for swimming), very quick tuktuk to Pasikuda beach. Excellent food and juices, excellent staff. Best pool in Sri Lanka, swimming under the stars was magical. Many fruits, vegetables, and spices grown on the property. Amazing, caring staff.

Room was a little small (but very reasonable for the price) and was a little far back on the property… but because it was so far back we had a lot of extra quiet and privacy so we didn’t mind.

Beautiful and peaceful garden with ample sized bungalows and nice sized warm pool, lots of Birds and squirrels. Not exactly a beach property however it makes up for it by the pool… bliss

That the beautiful sized windows and porches including the main doors had no insect netting, as we had to keep windows closed at night … missing the natural breeze

The environment is eco friendly. There are many useful plants we can find from this small area. This place serve for their clients not only hospitality as well as well maintained garden in the dry zone. The owner has good vision to treat their clients.

Nothing important

A lovely quiet tree lined property well placed just a mile from Pasikuda Beach. Very spacious rooms, a good sized pool and a restaurant area serving very big portions from an adequate menu.

Our rooms were among the furthest from the restaurant/pool area and we had no wifi in our rooms.

We rested here for about a month, passed unnoticed. Perfect staff, it's like a big friendly family. They cooked dishes according to our wishes. A huge beautiful garden, we could eat fruit from a tree))) Very good hotel owner , helped us in everything. Large clean swimming pool. It was sad to leave. We will return here with pleasure.
