This villa is in an excellent location within a quiet and friendly neighborhood. It is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all essential facilities, including a kitchen and ample dining space, ensuring a comfortable stay. The owner is responsive to messages sent through the booking portal. A quality breakfast is provided by Nisha, who serves it with warmth and kindness, always wearing a happy and pleasant smile. Talalla Beach is about a 12-minute walk away along a relatively quiet street. Compared to other beaches on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, it is less crowded, making it a peaceful spot to relax.

Property is awesome and helpful staff room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is tasty come together with fresh fruits. Dinner also Excellent. The villa silence at night and i have peaceful sleep. Beautiful and grennery garden where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. A large bedroom with AC a good bathroom. Kitchen. Dining room. Blacony. They also have 2 bikes free of charge. You have 2 minutes to the supermarket 7 minutes waliking to the Talalla Beach. Feels just like home super comfortable! Serendip was our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka and we would recommend to anyone visiting! Nisha and Manju were wonderful hosts, always happy to help and very friendly. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment Manju dropped us off at the bus station! The room was spotless with a nice bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. There were great facilities throughout the property, with lots of outdoor space for relaxing during the day and in the evening, including a hammock and a balcony. Serendip would also be great for a longer stay as there are kitchen and laundry facilities. The food was amazing, and we would definitely recommend having lunch/dinner during your stay, as the rice and curry is delicious. It is only a short walk down to Tallala beach, which is nice and peaceful, especially compared to some of the more popular tourist beaches nearby.

The whole place is very peaceful and super clean. We were welcomed with a mice cool freshly squeezed juice and the ac was already on in the room, such a nice welcome. It’s a 10 min walk to Talalla beach, which is by far the quietest beach we have seen in Sri Lanka. Just 50 m outside the stay are two shops, one for fruits the other one like a mini super market, so you can buy all supplies if you would like to cook your own food. There is a kitchen with all essential tools, a fridge, microwave and a kettle. Our breakfast was included and it was good with toasted bread, a plate of fruits, fried eggs and tea (or coffee). Probably one of the nicest things in the property was the water cooler and guests are free to use it. They also have two bikes that are in good shape when compared to other ones we used in Sri Lanka. What’s more they didn’t charge for the use at all, so we biked to Hiriketiya beach and back. The hot shower is good with adjustable pressure if you would like to use it. The staff and the owners are super friendly and nice as well. Would definitely like to stay here again, for longer time. Feels just like home, super comfortable! Absolutely recommended!

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about.

This is a small homestay which is excellent value for money. Leisurely 10 minute walk to the beautiful unspoilt Talalla beach. Breakfast was good, we did have dinner (rice, curry and several vegetable dishes) here one night and it was excellent and exceptional value for money. Our host was friendly and helpful, he organised a taxi to Ella for us at a fair price with a very safe driver.

The room we booked was described as a villa, it was actually an ensuite room in the villa, not a self contained villa. We had access to a shared kitchen and a nice balcony.

I have had a wonderful stay serendip villa it is remarkably peace full and quite amid lush jangles full of birds and occasional langurs. Caretakers are doing a great job of hospitality. Keeping place very neat and well maintained few grocery shops are nearby. Kitchen with all essentials. Talalla beach is very nice easliy reachable. Would definitely recommend to stay in this more authentic part of the sri lanka for purer local experience

Absolutely wonderful stay

Very clean and well looked after. Lots of space available for chilling out - balconies, the garden and eating area. Staff were very attentive, all my needs were met. Dinner was offered at an additional fee - very delicious!

Lovely place! We stayed in the downstairs apartment for 2 weeks and it was perfect, really spacious with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and large living area. There’s a washing machine outside that’s shared with other guests. Located in a quiet/rural area but only a short walk to the beach and a short bus ride to busier towns. Nisha is lovely and looked after us so well, she cooked us a big breakfast every morning even came at 6:30am some mornings to make us breakfast. You can request to have delicious dinner there also or if not there are some nice restaurants by the beach too. Was sad to leave!

Due to the location there are a lot of mosquitoes around but this can’t be helped. There is a good mosquito net in the bedroom but make sure to bring plenty of decent bug spray too

The villa has large beautiful garden a large bedroom with AC good bathroom with hotwater blacony. Kitchen dining area. Breakfast is tasty with fresh fruits also tasty dinner. Free bikes. In 2 minutes supermarket in 6 minutes walking Talalla Beach helpful staff recommened

Everything is great

We planned to only stay a few days but ended up spending a full week at Serendip because we liked it so much. The property is in a quiet, peaceful area and the staff were so friendly! Comfortable room with a/c, nice shared kitchen, delicious breakfasts, washing machine to do laundry. Plus it is within walking distance to Talalla beach which was one of the most beautiful, least crowded beaches we visited on the whole island.

Nothing! I recommend having a scooter or tuk-tuk to get around but I'm sure the staff would arrange transportation for you otherwise. They were really helpful!
