First, this little hotel is only a one hour drive to the Copenhagen Airport; second, it is in a quiet, rural area of Southern Sweden teeming with horse ranches (It is the Lexington, Ky, area of Sweden; third, the owners are deeply embedded in the Swedish horse culture; fourth the dining area looks out on a very classy, indoor riding arena in which are trained some of Sweden's top equestrian horses and riders--our room also had a window looking into the area); fifth, the hotel is kept immaculately clean (even each and everyone of the room corners; sixth, the kitchen and refrigerator are stocked with everything one could possibly want for breakfast (When I asked if they had oatmilk, they didn't but when out of their way to go get some; seventh, the area is very beautiful with walking trails in a nearby woods; and ninth, it is close to Lund, a picturesque university town.

Our only regret was that we had to fly home after only night at Flyingehus Gårdshotell.

Very friendly staff. An odd twist: the only hotel room I've had with a window (the only window) facing into an indoor riding arena. They market themselves as a B & B & B, i. e. a Bed & Breakfast & Box, which means that they provide you with a room but also (if you are travelling with a 4-legged companion) a box for your horse. In both cases with breakfast :-). Dog friendly.

I loved it, but may not be suitable if you don't like horses and/or dogs (or have allergic problems).

Lovely bed&breakfast in a "horse town" in same building with a horse stable and horse training school. Very friendly and helpful owners, an interesting home like self service breakfast in a shared kitchen, nicely designed room and horses, horses everywhere! If you love 'em, visit this B&B! And a nice labrador dog as a bonus to pet.

Otherwise totally lovely room was a furnace as heatwave was back. No AC, no Fan in room. The AC in the main area (downstairs) was wonderful, I hope it could be introduced to bedrooms as well. And when I have to make breakfast myself, it'll be just sandwich and cereal, but own fault :-)

We loved the rural surroundings. The countryside was beautiful and being with such amazing horses was very special. The hosts were extremely accommodating and very personable.

An absolute gem of accomodation. Clean, fresh, comfy beds and pillows plus our very own workspace, and a short drive to Malmö and Lund. Lovely hosts in a historical setting.

Good location for my purposes. Very nice room and very good self service breakfast. Extremely friendly hosts.

Making my own breakfast

Perfect place to stay when you’d like tot visit the south(west) of Skåne and when you love horses. The room was very nice and clean. It’s so nice to eat your breakfast while watching a training! We definately want to return some time!

The only thing is that it’s a bit noisy (you hear quite a lot sounds of the other guests). Other small improvement points could be a floor wiper (the bathroom gets wet when you shower) and maybe in between cleaning (we stayed three nights, the upside of that is that you have more privacy!).

Very beautiful and neat BB. Looking at the horses during breakfast and in the evening is great !
