I want to give my best compliment to Magdeline at the check-in desk. There were some problems that she solved immediately and in the best possible way. I can tell for sure that only she would have acted as she did. Her professionalism and kindness should be taken as an example by her colleagues. I sincerely consider that Magdeline should be elected as the Elite Stadshotelket Vasteras employee of the year.

You need to improve the administration of your parking. I booked the 1-minute parking and at the check-in, I was told that I was wrong, thing that's not true. At the end, someone stole my place.

Staff were excellent throughout the stay. On arrival we found that our bathroom sink lacked a plug, a minor issue, but the gentleman on reception replaced it immediately. As we were making an early trip on our first morning a takeaway breakfast was provided with no fuss which was much appreciated. Location was convenient for the train station & our room overlooked the cathedral.

No bath in our room & no fruit salad for breakfast.

Stadshotellet's central location in Västerås is perfect. It's close to shops, restaurants, and sights. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, blending historic charm with modern touches. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet and friendly staff. The pub and amenities in communal areas such as coffee, sparkling water, board games, etc. were a nice bonus.

A kettle with a selection of teas and coffees would have been a welcome addition to the room.

The hotel is full of character, very clean and comfortable and in a perfect central location. The toiletries were good quality and the breakfast buffet was very good, even offering vegan cheese and meats and a selection of milks.

Our room was quite compact. Tea and coffee facilities were not refreshed and mugs not washed. The towels were too small and too few. The bathroom design flooded the floor.

My first room was a standard double, and was comfortable, although with few frills. Having a decent pillow was a big plus, though (you need to choose one at reception if you want a special pillow). My second room was a deluxe double and that was great, far bigger and with both a shower and a bath. The breakfasts were good, with nice choices, and the Bishops Arms, attached to the hotel, had good food, good atmosphere and a large variety of beers on tap!

The bathroom in the standard double was very small, particularly the shower. The hotel was full, which meant that breakfast was a bit crowded, but I always managed to find a table. Most of the staff were very friendly, some were not particularly friendly but were polite.

We came on our motorbikes, and they provided safe parking for the bikes so we would not have to park in the street. The room had everything we needed (although a bit on the small side), the toiletries were very nice, the breakfast was excellent. the location was perfect.

the room was quite warm, we had to open the window, and a bit on the small size. Other than that, a very nice stay.

Breakfast was great, There was a lot too choose from like fresh fruit. The rooms were nice, bed was comfortable, and it was clean. it was one of the better hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff was very polite and helpful. Location was great too, as u could walk to restaurants and shops as is was close to like the centre of city. Truly enjoyed this stay and will be coming back to this hotel !!!

Not really any complaints to be honest.

We loved this hotel. Exceeded out expectations. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms very clean. Breakfast fantastic 😋 Great position for exploring the city. We will be back.

Would like a slightly bigger room next time. 🤔 As English people it took us a minute to realise we needed to look for the second Duvet. Gave us all a giggle over a drink!

The architecture of Elite hotels is always great: old, solid buildings with looks and history. Great breakfast too, as always. Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.

The room was quite cold when I got in, which was not so nice because I had some fever when getting there. But opening the thermostat to maximum solved that issue :)

The vibe of the hotel is really good, we were really happy and relaxed as soon as we came. The rooms are spatious, the staff is really nice and happy to help. The location is GREAT. The breakfast has various foods that are excellent. Would recommend.

Everything was great. Nothing to complain about.
