It was amazing in so many ways, coolest and most unique hotel I have stayed at. Not only is it incredibly well designed and gorgeous, the games and activities available free of charge were fantastic too.

It is a very, very noisy hotel and definitely not a place to go for relaxation. The soundproofing in the rooms leave a lot to wish for, you can hear people in the hallway as if they were inside the room, and your neighbours through the walls. Also, the drinks at the bar are insanely expensive, not quite on par with the price of the hotel itself.

I honestly think the visit was world class in almost every regards. The staff, the food, the spa, the food... the building and interior... all exquisite.

Unfortunately we were placed on one of the few rooms which was neighbouring with the elevator, and since the hotel was fully booked there where a lot of sound from people travelling up and down all day. It quieted down later in the evening and I had also brought my earplugs, so I still managed to get an amazing sleep.

Staying at Steam Hotel was a unique and memorable experience for my wife and me. The hotel, set in a converted 100-year-old power plant, combines industrial charm with rustic luxury. Our room was stylish and comfortable, with a cozy ambiance. The rooftop bar and restaurant offered lovely views of Lake Mälaren, and the Pool Club, with both indoor and outdoor pools, was a perfect relaxation spot for us and our friends. Breakfast was exquisite, with a great mix of local and international flavors. Overall, a fantastic getaway that blends history with contemporary comfort.

While we had a good time at Steam Hotel, there are a few things that could be better. The Pool Club, though lovely, felt a bit crowded, which took away from the relaxing vibe. Breakfast at 9 am was pretty hectic, with long waits to get a seat. The beds were just okay, but not quite up to four-star standards, and the pillows were smaller than expected. Fixing these minor issues would make the stay even more enjoyable.

Outstanding design, this is truly a destination in its own right! A masterpiece of style, elegance and impeccable service! Staff members were a dream! We were even given a personal tour of the property by a member of the reception team who spoke in detail about the former power plant, its history and conversion into the hotel/resort today!

Booking.com advertises the property to have parking! (It does not have on-site parking!) The rooms, although beautiful and sumptuously decorated are in need of a paint touch up! Our black entrance door and bathroom door were covered in bashes and paint chips, as too was the skirting boards and some walls.

We were greeted by a very pleasant staff at the reception when we checked in. She was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good and plenty of staff to make sure that we could get a good meal. The hotel sent plenty of information about their facilities and restaurants options ahead of my visit which was very good for first time visitors like me.

There's no carpark attached to the hotel. We had to park right across the hotel at another building. A little heads-up before arrival would have been nice.

Stunning building with great decor. Superb room that offered exceptional value for money. We dined on the top floor and enjoyed the view from the bar - dinner and drinks were over twice the price of the room. Breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) was extensive and good quality. Limited parking on site but a multi-story carpark within a short walk after you've dropped your luggage.

Check in was slow although we arrived at a peak time around 17:30.

No own parking. Need to walk to a public parking. Breakfast was good, but the area was so super full of people. You run around like a fool searching a place to sit. Horrible! And charging for an espresso for breakfast extra costs? Why?

Loved the location on the lake and the novelty of the interior

The shower was not easy to get the correct temperature . The elevator for floor 9 had a long wait during busy times - it felt a bit shaky - there was one elevator not working so this was probably the reason for the wait . Was hard to get a seat in the restaurants if you haven’t prebooked

It is always nice to stay here. We come back often. Great rooms and staff. We love the extended pool area.

The elevators are not enough and not working correctly. You used to have delicious Swedish pancakes and Swedish buttermilk. We are sad to see you are options out to make think non-tasty American pancakes and only yoghurt.

Unbelievable place!! Enchanting pool club, 3-4 world class restaurants/eateries, 18th floor cocktail bar with spectacular views, kids playroom, 3-4 charming bars, cinema, karaoke rooms, arcade games. The Waterpark!! Loved all the small details. It has a 1920’s industrial charm blender with a modern architectural touch
