Conveniently located. The restaurant has a great vibe,we had lunch here one day, and it was good. The family room has a big balcony. The room is spacious. The bed is comfy. The room is not too hot or too cold. Access was easy with access codes and communication was effortless. Hosts was very friendly and helpful.

The room is very basic, with no mini fridge, no TV ( we were here over Christmas and would have loved watching Christmas movies at noght), and no coffee machine. The breakfast is very basic (cold meats, cheeses, breads and spreads, yogurt, and Meusli and Cereals)

Goethe famously said about Andermatt: “of all the regions I know, this is my favourite”. Hotel Bergidyll proves Goethe’s preference. Wonderfully located very close to ski lifts and the lovely village centre, it provides a cozy stay with very attentive staff and comfortable rooms. If Goethe’s recommendation is not enough, maybe the fact that Sean Connery stayed there while filming Goldfinger will convince you that this is the place to stay in Andermatt.

My only complain is the length of our stay: we should have stayed longer.

The atmosphere is amazing! We like everything from the first step: the living room is so special and stylish, lots of beautiful details. The room is small, but very comfortable and cute, very clean. We were offered to get a breakfast, which was very good. The bathroom is shared with two another rooms on the floor, but we were the only couple to use ours. Carpet is everywhere, which make the everything quite . Also, there is a very nice restaurant on the first floor. It works not daily, but Thur-Sun. The pictures of Sean Connery are located in the hotel that attract interest to the place:).

Lovely hotel, great atmosphere, friendly host, clean room, parking for motorbike, restaurant and lounge looked great although we didn’t use either. We were able to take a take away breakfast with us in the morning as we left early, although this was only available from 7:30. Lovely town in a great location for the passes. Would definitely stay again.

There was no plug in the bathroom basin which could be a contact lens disaster, and the rooms were very small, but the atmosphere made up for it though.

The location is great, around three to five minutes from the main station. Our room is clean and comfortable with a big shared balcony. The breakfast is also delicious, they serve various kinds of Twinning's tea which I have never seen before. Besides, the fruits they prepared are fresh and sweet! The single bed is also bigger than others!

Hotel team were welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Perfect start to a day skiing

Bedroom needed more storage / hanging space. Maybe a radiator hanger for lightweight clothes that need airing after skiing

The hotel was better than the photos. The parking was excellent, the bar and lounge area were lovely with nice multilingual staff.

I found the room very hot but I am not used to the low temperatures outside. i would have liked another pillow but this seems to be the same in many hotels locally.

The host and staff were absolutely amazing and very welcoming

Our stay of 4 days was to short and couldn’t find anything to dislike about Hotel Bergidyll
