Our room was simple but spacious with two twin beds and a bunk bed. The bathroom had a tub bath. Breakfast at the hotel was ample and good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask for the Ticino Ticket when you check in, which allows free trips on trains and buses in the region as well as discounts on tourist attractions. The location, across the street from the train station, made transportation very easy and accessible.

The hotel is dated and was not much changed from the way it was when I stayed there over 40 years ago. However, everything worked and there were no problems.

A great place with a great location, especially if you are traveling by train. The room is sweet and cozy and the old furniture does not spoil this. It even adds a special charm to the room. Everything is very clean and comfortable.

The couple of moments that could be better is the language ability of the staff ) when your Italian is poor that can be a problem. One more thing is that you can hear your neighbours better that you would like sometimes)

Immaculately clean and this is the most important. Excellent Pizzeria serving good food. Friendly staff. Good location just by the exit of the south side of the tunnel.

First impression on arrival isn’t great but then you realise that although it’s a really old hotels it’s immaculately clean.

We had a room with a lot of light, fully meeting the expectations we had. Perfect for one night or a short stay. Good in-house restaurant.

Shared bathroom can be quite a walk along the corridor away, with only one WC per gender and one shower. Manageable though

The Hotel is close to the highway and easy to reach. People are friendly and the beds are fine. Ideal for short visits when you drive to Italy. The restaurant is also good.

The shower is like a cannon from a firetruck & it doesn't stay in place, so maybe it would be a good idea to change the shower head for a wider one. I suggest ordering a room with the included bathroom. Personally i Didn't really like the shared bathroom situation, but that's a lesson for the next time. The parking is OK, but could be better. The parking in front of the restaurant is paved with asphalt, but pretty busy. The parking on the left side would be way better if there would be Asphalt instead of Rocks. I think it's OK for normal cars, but for sportscars it's not so good.

I liked the very warm atmosphere in the restaurant and the food served. Such an level of attention, care and friendliness of the waiters is something very rare to find in Switzerland so well done guys👍👍👍

The rooms are a bit old and would do with some renovation but it's also normal for this style of hotels.

We liked the comfort of the room, nice beds, it was quiet and we had a good rest. Nice restaurant for dinner and also nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

The bathroom needs refreshing. The surrounding area is not particularly nice, train station is across the street, but it was not noisy or crowded.

Fine hotel in great location just in front of the train station (ideal when you're travelling by train). Nice stuff and good breakfast.

Whole hotel is not in ideal condition and needs renovation. But for 1-2 nights stay for people without high expectations and requirements it's an affordable choice.
