very comfortable and spacious apartment with everything you need. Very clean and I liked having a extra bathroom in the main bedroom. A lift straight from the parking area which was well marked for every apartment house.

Their refund policy or the fact that they say on booking.com ( can be the policy of Booking.com) that they have a no refund policy when in fact the have a 7 day refund policy. I know this seems a litle problem but when you thinking about changes prior to the jurney this can be an issue. We called the hotel 6 days prior to the jurney and therfore did not receive any refund alhough we did not expect any refund we could and would have called one day earlier if we had known about the 7 day policy. Very VERY expensive parking and no other parking option than the parking basement - although being a very good parking lot. They don't advertise that the hotel area is being built and that a large part of it is undeveloped.

The property is in Andermatt Reus which is the new side of Andermatt. We loved the 2x 1 bed apartments we stayed in ( 3.3 and 3.4 in the Alpenrose building), they are the ones with the pink armchairs. We had everything we needed to cook in the apartment, enjoyed walking over into town to the Coop for fresh food. There is a bus every 15 minutes if you want to go over to Gemstock. Or you can walk the 5 minutes to go up the Gutsch Express for the main mountain which links up to Dieni > Sedrun > Disentis. We skied our way over to Disentis and caught the train back from there which was just a STUNNING train ride. The apartment is also perfectly located for winter walking routes along the river, and for cross country skiing at the Nordic Centre. Amazing skiing up the long valley and in loops around the Nordic centre. What else to tell you? It is a developing side of Andermatt but there are 3 or 4 restaurants including the Radisson Blu, a great ski shop, a cute coffee stall van outside. They are working hard to create a vibe. And once the next 5 start hotel is built there then I think the critical mass of people will be there to give the area full momentum.

Not the property’s fault but I read you could pay to use the pool at the Radisson Blu but it was unavailable every day / it relies on a limited of non-existent number of slots being available for outsiders. Andermatt definitely needs to build a pool / leisure centre like many alps towns have.

Clean, with a parking underneath (fee applies), with all the amenities and close to the gondola with access to the slopes. Overall we had a really pleasant stay

The apartment doesn’t match the pictures, which was really disappointed. Specially the sitting/ dinning area it was tiny, however in all the pictures showcasing this type of apartment looks spacious and ample. Knowing they use different pictures for advertising, we would have chosen a different type of apartment to accommodate 3 people. In the reception, they confirmed they use different pictures they have in stock and that they might not match the reality. It is good to be aware of this before booking. The real aspect of the apartment can be found in pictures attached (superior apartment 1 room)

It had everything we needed. Facilities for self catering were excellent. Layout was good with a comfortable mezzanine level sleeping area with large double bed. Loads of storage space. Close to the main town and access to lovely trail walks. We used it was a base so we could explore the passes by car and some trails on foot. The village area is fancy, though it’s worth noting that there is still some construction work going on but doesn’t impact things in my view. There were a number of previous comments on finding parking, we didn’t find any issue. There are several areas and all had loads of spaces.

Parking is very expensive. It was 22CHF per day. We opted for the hour free to drop off our cases then I drove less than 30 seconds out of the car park to P1 parking for 12CHF per day. When we were leaving we did the same. There are instructions for a parking app which was easy to use. Reception is difficult to locate, but we eventually found it.

Andermatt Alpine Apartments is located about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the train station and during the winter months, this area may be slick. The host offered to set up transportation from the train station; we chose to walk. As you pass under Route 2, there are a set of steps to negotiate and an elevator next to the steps making it easier to carry your gear to/from the train station to the Ruess area where the Alpine Apartments are located. This area has some active construction nearby. Check-in was easy with clear instructions to our assigned apartment in a building with an elevator. Remember this is an alpine environment-walk carefully! Our apartment was spacious and well equipped. We were able to cook meals as we wanted and wash/dry our clothes in the apartment as needed. All the appliances are Swiss-made and prompts are in German with easy to use icons. We rented a Premium apartment and had access to an in-building spa that included showers, dry and wet saunas and a pool. Very relaxing after our on-mountain adventure days! We purchased items we need for our stay at a small grocery/retail store in the train station or in town at the Coop Supermarket. We used public transportation for our trip and didn't use the underground parking except for trash/recycle disposal as instructed at check-in. The underground parking is immense and appeared to connect several of the buildings in the Ruess area above. At the train station, there is a winter sports shop where we chose to have our skis tuned and stored for convenience. A quick web search will show there are many options for ski/snowboard rental/tuning in Andermatt. A winter sports gear storage room is on the ground floor of the Alpine Apartments. We took a couple of days off to enjoy the Andermatt village and history as well as shop and sample the local cuisine. Too many wonderful sights, sounds, tastes and hospitality in this area and across the resort to mention. You cannot go wrong!

The appartment was fully equipped making it very easy to prepare meals. Very quiet and did not hear any noise from construction although it was taking place during the day it was not heard in the appartment.

We had issues checking in as office closed at 6pm and we arrived at 7pm. Was informed to check in and collect key at the Radisson but when we did this they had no recollection and sent us to the office which we knew was shut and told them this but they insisted they had not keys for us. We were stuck for about 15minutes as we were unable to contact the office as it was out of hours. Eventually Radisson found our check in details but was a little stressful initially. Other than this the stay was perfect.

Our apartment in the Yara building, on the top floor, was truly amazing! Huge, modern, clean, brand new , with beautiful views of the Alps from the big terrace!👌 And, it even had its own sauna on the second floor, which was awesome after a full day of skiing!⛷️👌 The staff at Alpine Apartments reception was also great - they were very responsive even before we got to Andermatt, through the whole booking process, and when we arrived there, they already had the apartment ready for us, which we greatly appreciated! They were very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and were always ready to help with a smile!😊 Thank you for this unforgettable stay in Andermatt!❄️

The only thing was that the free Andermatt shuttle busses were not running at night, after 5:30-6pm, which made it uncomfortable to walk back and forth a few times between the village and the Andermatt Alpine Apartments, which are located approximately 1.5 km from the village center. I think more shuttles and free busses that run all day and night will greatly help the hospitality business in Andermatt in general. Oh, and the app MyBuxi does not work well...we waited one night more than 25 min for a 5min ride..., and the driver was not very polite...

Perfect location in the new part of Andermat, super modern appartment with fantastivc mountains view and direct access to the underground parking (attention: parking cost is not included in the price). It turned out even bigger and with more sleeping places that expected.

Just some minor fixes the team should check on, like the coffe machine lid falling of when filling it with water. Also amoung all thinkable and unthinkable kitchen utilities in the apartment we have failed to find the essential: a corcksrew! Likelly we had a Swiss Army knife sor the vacation wasn't spoiled

The cleanliness, spaciousness of the room, multiple bathrooms, and availability of kitchen utensils were excellent. The balcony overlooked the mountain view and the valley stream. The place is quiet and perfect for relaxation. Summer was enjoyable, the weather cool and refreshing. There was a children’s play area, a walking path, and a great sense of safety and security. Everything was wonderful.

The lack of restaurant options, the distance to the supermarket, and the limited services in the area.
