Nice hotel in Andermatt. Staff were polite and courteous. Check-in was easy. Remodeled interior for the room we stayed in, with a low-ceiling loft that sleeps two. Bottles of water were included in our one-night stay. Mini fridge available. Bathroom is an interesting setup where it is like two half-baths; one half-bath had the toilet and a sink, and the other half-bath had the standing shower and another sink. Grocery store and train station nearby within walking distance, as were many ski lifts. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was continental, with fresh bread, cured meats, cheeses, plus spreads (a travel companion quite liked the hazelnut spread).

Minor details: the lift upstairs is small; not much to be done about that though as the building itself appears to be older and the lift as added afterwards. Also, the stairs up to the loft beds are a bit steep, so place your more sure-footed travelers up there.

This property boasts a real swiss atmosphere, from the cozy rooms to the excellent dining experience, you’re guaranteed to have a memorable experience. The staff in the hotel and restaurant are some of the most hospitable individuals I’ve had the pleasure to meet on my travels in Switzerland and they made sure my stay was both comfortable and stress free. If you have not planned to do so, I can wholeheartedly recommend having lunch in their restaurant - they serve some very tasty dishes from reasonable prices, I can assure you they will have you full and ready to hit the slopes, or the party if you’re like me. I plan to stay again sometime in the future and would be happy recommend to any of my friends.

Perfect location in the centre of lovely Andermatt, great little hotel which suited the occasion (a place to stay after riding the Alpenbrevet) perfectly. Bed was ridiculously comfy and there were plenty of sockets and USB ports for charging. If parking head down the right hand side of rhe building as if heading to the church and there us a sign to the left (into a little yard car park).

If you want dinner there on a Saturday night make sure to book ahead! Due to timings of my cycling event, I ended up checking in about 5.30pm, the guy who greeted me at that time clearly wasn't thrilled but it wasn't really the attitude I'd expected considering the lady I'd met previously was lovely.

Room is just lovely, plenty of shelving and hooks for hanging clothes-especially useful as we arrived on motorbikes so ideal for hanging our motorbike kit following a rainstorm. Hotel is great overall, parking in 2 areas, very safe for motorcycles. We liked that UK TV is available just for some home comforts. Bathroom is very well designed too. All in all we would stay again and recommend others to stay here.

Turns out it was Switzerlands Birthday during our stay (many happy returns) however the church bells never stopped ringing all through the day and night making for a very broken sleep. However I'm sure this is a one off situation.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Andermatt about 10 mins walk from the station. My room was excellent and met my needs. Breakfast was included - plenty of choice. Evening meal in the restaurant was lovely. Commend staff for their friendliness and efficiency. Two bottles of water provided in the room. Powerful shower. Everything was clean and well looked after. Room was upgraded when mine wasn't ready by 4pm check in time - much appreciated.

Nothing - hope to return and explore the area more.

The breakfast is ok, the selection is good. Location is just in the center, between two ski lifts, close to everything. The room has all features I need: enough electrical outlets, mirrors, space to keep your stuff, adjustable room and water temperatures, good lighting, nice room design, modern bathroom appliances and design. Wonderful view from the window!

Why all restaurants charge 5 chf for the glass of water?

Friendly checkin. Nice room size. Modern bathroom. Welcoming and cozy.

A few bugs flew in the windows with out screens, but were easily caught and removed. Our fault for having windows open, I suppose. Nothing else not positive to say, and even that gave us some exercise, so not all bad.

We loved the location in relation to the town and the mountain. It was on a stunning little street and was very cozy with easy access to the gondola right down the road. The room was updated and very nice.

Parking is a little bit of a beast in the winter time. There are only three (3) spots in the front and less out back so be prepared to walk down the road from the gondola parking lot. It's not a bad walk but was unexpected. No spots reserved.

Center of town, great location, up top, small but very well done and never felt cramped and the bathroom was decent even for someone tall! Good breakfast.

Maybe include somebody wash and wash cloth but I always travel with my own. The staff was ok but didn’t feel welcoming. I get everyone has good and bad days but don’t rush through things.
