This hotel absolutely deserves a rating higher than 9! The current lower rating is honestly misleading and mainly due to an old restaurant that used to have limited food options — but that is no longer the case, the restaurant is currently closed for improvements. Also, many guests don’t seem to understand the self-check-in process, but in reality, it’s very straightforward. The reception team is available daily via phone from 7:00 to 22:00, and there’s always a phone at the reception desk for quick assistance. The location is unbeatable, the rooms are super clean, and the service is fantastic. Special thanks to Marie from the reception team — she is extremely helpful, reliable, and efficient. Her support made our stay even better. She truly represents excellent Swiss hospitality!

Very nice hotel, the room was really great.

An administrative problem occurred and I was receiving their calls with expensive Swiss roaming charges (they could use whatsapp or something similar, like many other hotels). No receptionists are available (self check-inI, so when a heating thermostat did not work properly and we lost quite some time trying to solve the issue, we had to contact them through the booking application and finally get the needed instructions. SHOCKINGLY, plenty of polluting plastic and single-use packaging in the bathroom and at the breakfast. Best hotels clean their bins, without polluting our world with countless plastic bags. Conscious businesses respect society and the environment as well. Shocking, especially for Switzerland.

Central location, restaurant, parking next to hotel, spacious clean, comfortable room with good quality facilities, bed linen and main bed as well as overall nice hotel interior. Staff-free check-in was easy, room information was clear, left at the reception desk in the envelope with welcoming sweets for all guests. Restaurant staff was very friendly and welcoming. Opportunity for late check-out was very helpful. Walking distance to public SPA

1. The room was booked for 3 adults, however on arrival the room was not ready for 3 persons (no 3rd bed) and we had a difficulty to reach the staff to get a solution. 2. The additional bed for 3rd person in the room we were transferred to was a folding, short and narrow bed - not suitable for an adult and we were not informed about such inappropriate option for 3rd person when booking. 3. Hotel next to pub and main street - significant noise during the night

Big room, well equipped, clean; huge bathroom. Location in the center of the small city. Nice place to stay if it wasn't for this absence of personnel that makes the place odd.

I stayed in this hotel 2 years back and I loved it. This time around there was no personnel except cleaning staff in the morning and it made a difference. No one to help, no one to advise tourists, no one to ensure security or keep your luggage (door is constantly open and access to floors free; ok we are in a very safe part of Switzerland, but still), no one to answer the phone. I had hard time doing the check out. No oThe place is deteriorating e.g., the breakfast used to be wonderful; now coffee machine half broken; orange juice machine not available, and offer became very standard. The restaurant was closed, in the middle of July. Very strange impression.

I get that it’s self checkin, but a boutique hotel really should have personality, with no staff this place really is just a simple hotel, don’t expect any nice additions, simple, clean, nothing more. Remove the boutique branding and it’s all as described.

In our 2 night stay I saw zero members of staff apart from the lady putting out breakfast. This is basically a self service hotel, check in and out on your phone or the iPad. If you have any issues or queries it would probably be a while getting them sorted as you need to phone someone. Breakfast was OK, but could be better compared to other places of the same price.

Very quiet, clean, nice people on phone and at reception.

We asked for VEGAN breakfast prior to booking, the said they would "hand on the information to the kitchen", and when checking in, the lady at the reception also acklowledged... then, there was nothing vegan (other then the usual little packets of margarine). That was disappointing. Just to be clear: I don't expect to always get vegan food and know its an extra effort and cost, but I expect to get It when I'm told I will...

The location is great and underground parking ia right near the hotel. The room was big and tidy and well equipped.

During the night there a metal sound because of the wind which was quite disturbing…the breakfast could have been a bit more varied.

- It would be good if there was a proper luggage storage (also for snowboards) - It would be good to have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion in the room, rather than the tiny bottles of "all in one" - It would be good if the room was cleaned and new water and coffee provided each day (it was only the bed that was made) - It would be good if the toilerties were from Rituals as advertised - I was disappointed

24h availability to speak with someone, even just over the phone. The lady was so kind to help us find a space to sleep as we arrived to late too late to the other hotel, where reception was closed.
