Staff, location, very spacious apartment. We did not use mini kitchen but seemed well equipped as well. Very good selection for breakfast buffet. And the view from the balcony! Very friendly staff. If you are arriving with the car, there are free reserved spots (better to ask the staff for the location) and affordable garage parking in 3 min walk.

It was not an issue for us, however the hotel is in historical building, so no elevator. Family room was a bit pricey for our short stay as a small group, but should be fine for bigger family

Lovely Hotel - Clean, a little old fashioned but lovely staff and hotel room was modern with adequate facilities. Parking nearby allocated to the hotel. There didn’t seem to be a need to book and we were able to park within 100m of hotel. Breakfast was very good with the chef constantly paying attention to the large variety of choices and keeping them topped up. Overall good value for money

Rooms slightly dated but still nice, no elevator which may be a problem with heavy luggage.

The location was very good, close to attractions, restaurants, and a bus stop. Our room was comfy and had a small balcony. The breakfast was great. It was fresh, had a lot of variety, and the staff kept it tidy and replenished as needed.

+ At the time of writing this review the hotel is well under-rated, our weekend there was a really nice and pleasant surprise, especially given that the cost was quite reasonable -> great value for money + The real highlight was the breakfast, which offered a variety of choices of hot and cold dishes otherwise seen in 4- or 5-star hotels + The staff was friendly and helpful and let us check out 1 hour late without any complications or additional fees

The breakfast time window is 7.30-9.30am, which is fine, but not the most generous one. Most 3-star hotels offer breakfast until 10am (some even until 10.30am), which is appreciated by travelers that want to take it easy and sleep in a bit during their weekends or holidays.

The location was good. The design and arrangement were classic and old-fashioned.

The bathroom inside the room was a bit small, and there was no sink in the toilet. To wash your hands, you had to go into the shower area.

It was our second stay in the hotel during this winter season and I can only reiterate the previous remarks: + Great value for money + Excellent breakfast for this hotel standard + Friendly and helpful staff

The only (minor) thing that I could complain about is a relatively short breakfast window (7.30-9.30am), which may or may not be troublesome for visitors, depending on preferences.

Quiet, peaceful accommodation right on the banks of Tamina Creek. Really comfortable bed, lots of star cleanliness and world champion breakfast (huge selection, fresh and delicious). Plus point: with all the attractions close by, the Taminaschlucht excursion is almost from the doorstep.
