The hotel is in the city center, nice location, magnificent view of the mountain from the dining area. We stayed one night only, as we were on a stopover. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. One gets a complimentary bottle of sparkling mineral water in the room and a voucher for one drink in the restaurant, which we of course used. The in-house restaurant is nice and cozy, and prices (considering Swiss levels) are OK. Breakfast had a wide variety of Swiss cheese, hot and cold food, and even an egg cooker with individual stopwatches was available.

The showerhead was rather an intense massage device. It had a dense array of extra thin jets so that these felt like needles.

This is a fantastic hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and great food! A highlight was the breakfast - it’s one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel! It’s located a short walk from the bus/train station and there’s also a convenience store opposite if you want to buy any snacks. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

Nothing - everything was great! This wasn’t an issue for us and I’m not marking anything down but its worth mentioning so other people are aware - although the listing mentions an airport shuttle, there isn’t actually one available (its really easy to get there by train from Zürich airport anyway)

Room was great. we had a 2 bedroom and the rooms were big, with electric fans. very clean. well stocked with extra pillows and blankets, free water, toiletries. free breakfast, which wasn't great, but OK but it has an exceptional coffee machine. could even get lattes very clean. Bathroom was huge with 2 sinks, tub and separate shower, and lots of storage. easily enough room for 2 couples ... and had a living room and dining room. Lots of plugs everywhere. great room.

I was worried at check in because there is a bar or something right next to the check in and it's extremely smokey. the hotel has a strange layout. once we were on the second floor, everything was fine. no smoke smell and the room was exceptional Breakfast was just ok.

Nothing…. But because we had had such a lovely stay here in Sargans we changed our later hotel to the Post in Glarus and it was AWFUL!!! The staff were rude, the room was cold, customer service was worse than rude and the breakfast wasn’t great compared to the 6 other hotels we have stayed in this trip.

The hotel is well-located (close to the train station, convenient for a day trip in Liechtenstein), and the view is amazing. It's a traditional Swiss accomodation (hotel + restaurant) - proper and organized. Spacious room/bathroom and interesting shower.

The hotel is a bit pricey for what they offer (breakfast was okayish, the bed was not very comfortable, and the halls were somewhat noisy with the doors).

Clean and comfortable room, great breakfast, one bus stop away from Sargans station and 20 mins by bus from the Pizol cable car station. Coop supermarket just across the road. Welcome drink was a very nice touch

The cigarette smoke from the bar leaks into the lobby, they also don't have a dedicated luggage storage area (they did arrange for us to deposit it in the restaurant)

Beautiful location. Very handy for the transport links.

The hotel should consider erecting a sign at the train/bus station pointing to the hotel. As there was no internet signal it took us (and other travelers) a while to figure out where the hotel was located. It could also consider having a separate smoking room at the bar.

Breakfast - Excellent and good way to start the day Location - very good. Only short walk to train station and bus to Liechtenstein/Austria and also the old town. Quick access to supermarkets. Room - good size and bed comfortable.

The efficiency of the whole operation. The large breakfast room might appear full, but we never had to queue. Room cleaning teams were prompt, thorough and fast.

One or two smiles would have been welcome. Occasionally, we had to ask for refills of the breakfast buffet. Our bath had a severely leaky plug.

The hotel is located centrally in Sargans, at the same time very well accessible from the motorway, which was good for us as we were just stopping by for one night. The hotel is nice, clean, personnel is very helpful and kind. Rooms kept in nice order. Breakfast good with a variety of Swiss cheese. The guest can use the coffee machine in the breakfast room (free of additional charge) also during the night starting 23:00. Parking suitable for big cars and vans too.

The hotel was somewhat maze-like - as it is composed of various connected buildings (nothing horrible however, just be aware). The lobby and the reception is really tiny and as we, a group of seven, arrived it was completely full.
