"The breakfast lounge was not impressive, and the concept of the market was underwhelming. Additionally, the selection was limited compared to what I remember from five years ago when it was much better. The casino was also disappointing, as was the cigar lounge. The staff seemed to be avoiding service, hiding and pretending to be busy in the back room. When it reached 11 PM, they acted unprofessionally and suggested that we go to the casino to smoke cigars so they could close early. They also refused to sell cigars but failed to mention that the casino was under construction. The environment was terrible, and there was hardly anyone there, making it feel like this part of the resort did not live up to the great experience it promised.

While the hotel's exterior and amenities reflect its 5-star status, my experience fell short of expectations.

The quality of service did not align with the luxury standard one would anticipate. Additionally, the room's bed, advertised as a double, was actually two single beds on rolls that continuously moved apart, resulting in discomfort and disrupted sleep. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel's facilities and location remain appealing, but improvements in service and beds quality are needed to truly meet the expectations of a 5-star establishment.

The restaurants (Zollstube in particular!!), the friendly and helpful staff, the views, the pools/spas…truly the height of luxury. Also, for such an expansive property, full of guests, we never had to wait long for an elevator…it’s the little things!

In room products (soap, shampoo, lotion) felt a bit cheap, dare I say Holiday Inn vibes. Also, we arrived about an hour before our room was ready and enjoyed drinks and a snack at the hotel lobby lounge, and while ultimately lovely and delicious, we did have to send an incorrect drink back (after feeling slightly questioned by the manager on duty), as well as track down silverware and napkins, after the arrival of our food!

Amazing clean bright hotel, very beautiful location, great spa area, a lot of restaurants/bars, cute small shops. Like a little town inside Will be glad to come back !!!

Unfortunately not all the staff are professionals. for a 5 star hotel it is not acceptable to take people without any experience. A lot of people who don't know how to do their job. In one day we had a couple of strange situations: for example, during the dinner waiter spilled oil and splashed my friend 😵‍💫 In the morning they simply forgot about the coffee we ordered and only after I asked again… after 20/30 minutes, they were bring it. Waiter at the terrace was looked so annoyed and Impatient to customers. For the rest nothing to say, all amazing 🙌🙌🙌🙌

There is a lot of highly motivated staff which is most attentif, efficient, well organized and trained. This is probably the main difference to other high end hotels. Any wish was satisfied immediately and in a very personal manner. The quality of the cheeses at the breakfast buffet was exceptional. They offer a variety of Japanese green tea with the correct means to prepare it.

Just one minimal suggestion for improvement: The hot water for the Japanese tea at breakfast was boiling. They could add water at the right temperature of 60 or 70 degrés.

The service was wonderful and the facilities were fantastic too. I would have liked to have had slightly more space in our room. The bed area was a little snug and given what we were paying for it, this would have been welcomed. I can't fault the staff, service and food. All was of wonderful quality! The new years eve drinks reception for hotel guests was also beautifully done!

The food cost was eye watering - 44CHF for a club sandwich did feel excessive.

The wellness area and the diverse top michelin star restaurants have been top notch. The rooms have been very comfortable and clean. Especially breakfast at Verve was outstanding. You can as well use the public spa free of charge. If you look for a great weekend with good food and wellness it is totally worth going there. Staff are friendly, they just seem to have not enough staff for such a big hotel.

The hotel seemed to have not enough staff. Requests (like booking restaurant, asking for an iron, orders at breakfast in restaurant Olives, etc.) took more time than usual in 5* hotels, until they have been taken care of and we always had to remind them. Food at the bar took 1.5 hours, even if we told them that we only have 45 minutes times as our train was departing and they said it´s no problem. So we missed our train.

The live music on the outside terrace was a bit too frequent and pretty loud

Spa was great (nice steam bath and cold bath, as well as very nice pools) Food was excellent Experience was great, if your goal is to relax and take some time off and enjoy good food - then it is absolutely an option you should look at. Staff in the restaurants, dormitories and spa area were very professional and kind

Cycle in the Spa has too many steps (no one does that - so keep it simple) Massage were too expensive for what you get (massages were nevertheless good) approx. 1/2 of the Staff at the reception were a bit sceptical about a young couple as guests

The spa facilities were exceptional and entirely our reason for coming. We also enjoyed the service and most particularly because we rolled up to the hotel in a cheap rental car, spilled into the lobby with our backpacks and our box of pizza, and the staff did not break stride. They greeted our Canadian casual with the same impeccable detail as they did the well dressed man in the Ferrari who arrived minutes later.
