CALMNESS

I have been charged twice . I paid booking.com in advance and when i checked in they charged me again. Next day i have been informed about this mistake and that they have refund me but i will not be able to confirm the refund till mid of July. Also the view for lodge room that we have stayed in does not look like what is shown on Booking.com , there was a lot of construction works on the other side of the river and a big building has affected the nature view shown on Booking.com

Brilliant accommodation nestled behind Eglisau and next to the Rhine. The complex is pretty big with the restaurants, bowling and lodges. The lodges were spacious and clean with excellent parking facilities. Couldn't fault the quality of the rooms.

2 things annoyed me. Firstly, can't be helped but the construction across the river from the lodge is noisy. The cranes are a bit of an eye sore too and renders the balcony not private. Secondly and more pertinently I was disappointed with the housekeeping. They left towels for 1 person on 2 consecutive days. That wasn't a mistake, it was intentional. If the reservation was for 2 people and there's 2 people staying in the room then why leave towels enough for 1 individual. Nevertheless, I have overlooked this and given the accommodation 5* feedback.

Very roomy, good on-site restaurant and free parking. Check in staff were great. It was more of a conference facility.

No kettle in room. We were also under the impression this was in Scauffhausen when we booked it as that’s where it came up in the search but it’s in fact 30 mins away from the town and closer to Zurich.

the location was perfect away from city noise. the room was so beautiful loved it.

there was No room service which was a bit weird.

The facilities were amazing. The bowling and the thai restaurant were really good. It is only 15 min from airport.

the location is very far from the city, food delivery is difficult, no privacy in the bathroom.

Very close and convenient to family! Very clean and in the country by a peaceful river stream.
