We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Krone Regensberg. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely perfect—so lovely, welcoming, and helpful in every way. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and ensure everything was just right. The meals were incredible, not only because of the beautiful patio with its charming views, but also thanks to the truly impressive quality and creativity of the food. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented, showing so much care and attention to detail. The hotel itself is such a special place. The spaces are tastefully designed and full of character, and we were so comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. It felt like a peaceful retreat. This place is an absolute gem, and we can’t wait to come back again soon. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a memorable and inspiring stay.

The entrance can be slightly confusing, as there isn’t a traditional reception area, but once you figure that out, there’s really nothing negative to say.

The property is absolutely beautiful. the staff is one of the most hospitable I've ever came across. it is clean, quiet and designed to instill peace and true relaxation. the view is fabulous, and the little village is charming. if you need to get away from the world for a bit, that's the place. the hotel restaurant is so good, breakfast and dinner was worth every franc. chefs and waiters were so nice and professional. the hotel also have a pool nearby, located in the middle of green fields, its magical and very private. i will defiantly return asap.

The hotel is pretty secluded, so if you need something you will have to take a short walk to the nearby village. no cafes and restaurants within walking distance. also the AC was a free standing one so it blocked the window. dinner is a bit expensive.

Just a lovely town, Regensberg, and this gem of a hotel is built right into the walls near the castle tower. We were lucky enough to get the room directly over the arched throughway of the walls. Perfect blend of old and new - very modern amenities but with all of the charm of old times. Lots of stone, wood beams, beautiful views from up on the hill - this is a picture perfect little town, flowers, quaint houses, the works!

Only compliant was the price of dinner. Even given the quality of the food, we felt like the dinner prices were slightly too high. With a bottle of wine, a couple of courses each, and a glass of (local) sparkling wine, dinner was approximately 400 Euros and that seemed out of range, all said.

Beautiful location on hilltop close to Zurich with rural surroundings and great views (a drink at the terrace is highly recommended). Near hiking trails and vineyards (they have their own wine). Small (9 rooms) and exceptionally well designed hotel, the best layouts I have ever come across. Fantastic personalized service by staff. Excellent restaurant with fresh ingredients.

It took some time (2+ hours) to finish dinner, but this is a minor quibble given all the good things that the hotel offers.

Exceptionally elegant and tastefully restored historic site with a relaxed vibe, personal service & beautiful views. Inhouse restaurant Taverne did an excellent job too.

We prefer laidback dj tunes with our apero rather than a piano player, but that's really a matter of personal taste. Otherwise all perfect.

Mixte of old and new architecture, following the full rebuilding of the hotel after a fire... really nice place. Quite location, quite room, confortable room, fully equiped... Nice breakfast. Crazy view on the village and on the Zurich valley. Authenticity and contemporary style. Love it !

The warm and quite atmosphere. The hotel is so lovely furnished, situated and maintained. There are no words for the professionalism and kindness of the staff - the best hotel we have ever been to.

There is absolutely nothing we would change about our stay.

It’s one of a kind, just like living in a real castle for a night. Despite its old age, it’s very well maintained and well modernized in every aspect

A bit far away, still if respite in quiet environment then it’s perfectly situated

With only nine rooms but also with spaces all round you feel like like in perfect home. Cuisine uses best local ingredients cooked and served in modernist cuisine fashion. For example breakfast poached eggs with bacon with fresh petals were best in the class.
