Very nicely designed hotel, great facilities including a very nice heated pool and spa, very spacious and well equipped rooms. The service was always friendly and kind.

We ate at least 2 meals everyday at the hotel in all the restaurants beside the vegetarian one as the hotel is far from town and requires traveling by car. In summary, the experience in all the restaurants (except La Muna) was well below expectations for this kind of an hotel. It provides very low value for money - all meals were extremely expensive, even in Swiss terms, for small boring portions with mediocre taste. Also very little variety in the Breakfast buffet.

Spa was great. We especially like the staff: Very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed all of our conversations and interactions with them. They were all great with our dog!

All small things: The bed was slightly uncomfortable for reading: It would push away from the wall when you sat with your back against it to read. The piped-in music in the restaurants was almost intolerable at times. It took a while to get comfortable with the light switches; Maybe a simple 1-page guide could be provided. Restaurant atelier VERT was really good food but with the presentations etc, it took too long.

Very hospitable hotel, friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere in Hotel and especially the Room was very spacious, warm and pleasant. I particulary liked warm atmosphere and quietness of the room, 2nd to none. Almost felt we are alone in hotel as it was very quiet. Lots lots of space to store your things, large bathroom. Also to note we were upgraded free of charge!!! We had dog along and we felt very welcome so he also had a very good time. After visiting 100+ 5 star hotels all over the world i would have to put Alpengold hotel very very high on the list. Spa is very nice and outdoor pool/jakuzzi is fantastic! Food was great as well, breakfast is high quality variety of food, plenty of choice for demanding guest as well. Definetely coming back!

GYM - There are 4 technogym devices (cable resistance), small rack with dumbells up to 16 kg, no mats to do floor exercises or stretch(???), no kettlebells, but there is pullup bar (even set on wall just a bit too high for average user). 3 treadmils, elipticall and 2 bikes. There is plenty of space to use it way more efficient and way better in those 2 gym rooms...let some professinal trainer upgrade it maybe.

Lovely spacious rooms and the setting is fantastic, right by the lake in Davos with hiking/cycling trails nearby and easy access to town by (free!) public transport. The pool area is well designed. The hotel was fairly quiet when we visited which meant easy access to all the facilities.. All the members of staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. They even presented my husband with a cake on his birthday which was such a nice touch.

We found breakfast a little expensive if not included in the room rate but that was mostly because we have fairly fussy children and they were charged the adults’ rate. The food was excellent though.

The hotel was amazing. The staff were nice and helpful. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Also, the balcony is closed off on both sides (between guests' rooms), ensuring a high level of privacy for guests. The hotel is children-friendly. They have connected rooms (I had three connected rooms), so it is suitable for big families. Also, it has a children's play center and an outdoor playground. Davos is a nice small city. I think two days are enough to enjoy the city.

Nice hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. Great location and an amazing view from the balcony surrounded by nature. Hotel was great for kids as they had a wonderful kids club and an outdoor play area to keep them entertained. Breakfast was also very good.

Room was a little compact with the extra bed added but manageable for a short stay. Cushions and duvet covers could have been cleaner. The furnishings and TV had some dust residue.

The space of the room and the place of the hotel so quite and amazing view. The best hotel in the city. I prefer that pets should be at that same level better rather than having them in different level.

The room service - they are clean however it takes so long time to clean the room and you have to call them several times to ask them to clean the room. They are late to clean the room until 5:00 pm.

The facilities they have playground for kids , teen club with PlayStation and Xbox , nursery and kids play room. There was an ATM, parking area but with charge. Wonderful breakfast and kindly and helpful staff. I would like to thanks the concierge for his kindly treat while an emergency situation he and the other staff helped us to reach hospital.

High charge for parking area. Toilets in rooms without locks. Hard to have table in breakfast time while the weekend.

Gorgeous room, lovely view, friendly staff, excellent spa

Small issue but one point was a bit disappointing considering this is a hotel which caters to an international clientele: The hot chocolate (at breakfast and in the all day restaurant) should be made properly with fresh milk and hot chocolate powder or (even better) bits of chocolate. I know it’s a rarity to find fresh milk in hot drinks in Switzerland, but for instance a London hotel would one hundred percent have proper barista ingredients, and it would have rounded out the stay beautifully.

The place is very nice to stay and relax and walk around the mountains. They actually have a shuttle minivan that can take you around Davos which is complementary with the room.

The reception charged us for city taxes and in the app when i payed all the taxes was included i was shocked when he charged me 177 chf for 3 rooms for 5 nights. They where not clear from the start and i didn’t like the way he was explaining.
