Our family had such a fantastic stay at Weisser Rössli in Leukerbad. From the moment we arrived, our host made us feel so welcome, sharing helpful tips that made our visit even more special. The apartment itself was a perfect fit for us—spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. The brand-new, clean bathroom was a big plus, and waking up to those incredible mountain views each morning was a real highlight. We would absolutely recommend this apartment, especially for families with little ones, who will appreciate the large room and warm atmosphere.

This place was a little gem. I didn't actually know about this mountain town, Leukerbad. I was just looking for place to rest. Misreading the map, I thought it was going to just on the slopes among the vineyards going up from the valley floor. But it was actually deeper into the mountains, with trail (or chair) access above the treeline. The town has spa baths tapped from hot mountain springs. The owners were kind and helpful. They even offered an umbrella when rain came. Ask the owner about her photographic art. The room was a decent size with a little balcony looking over the town. The bed was very comfortable.

It's always nice to have a private bathroom, but the shared bathroom was mostly fine (a bit less fine when they're all being used and you need one). They're not shared in the sense of multiple shower cells next to each other like a dormitory or camping ground. They're separate bathrooms, but located in the corridor. I'd be happy to stay again even with the shared bathrooms.

The location of the hotel is perfect, with a stunning view on the mountains. The room matched the description in the website. During check in the host provided recommendations for using the guest card right away, and was very hospitable during our stay. We had a room on the 4th floor, which provided a great view that we enjoyed, though it could be not quite suitable for guests with heavy luggage.

Spotless clean. Comfortable. Owner is wonderful and very helpful. She made sure I had everything I needed, no problem cooking a snack late evening - 9 pm (try the snacks, delicious!!). (I left very early, before breakfast opened; owner was concerned I would start w/out breakfast!). Very nice overnight stay.

Only thing to be aware of, this is not a new property and is showing it’s age a little. That said, you can see it is scrubbed clean and the owners are trying hard to keep up.get ahead w maintenance and upkeep.

I traveled frequently. What I want are clean room, nice hot shower, comfortable bed and affordable price. This hotel offers all. Plus, the hotel also have supper friendly and knowledgeable staffs, great balcony views, centrally located, especially the thermal spa just at door steps; and good restaurant you can order the delicious food at any time.

We really liked it but read the description carefully first- If you don’t want to share a bathroom and be somewhere old-school and characterful then find somewhere else. If you’re happy with that then you’ll have an excellent stay with kind and thoughtful hosts.

Location is excellent, good value for what you pay. Clean and safe. Good breakfast and restaurant.

Some things weren’t clear, like prices for meals that were offered outside of the menu, and there was a tourist discount that we found out through other visitors, would be nice to know from the hotel.

The price is very reasonable for a stay in the center of Leukerbad.

The standard of the rooms is certainly below my expectations. The cleanliness of the showers and bath rooms can be improved. Probably, the hotel needs substantial investments to keep up with a standard of a hostel.
