We booked despite the negative reviews and were SO IMPRESSED!! The hotel is a beautiful building in the centre of the village, the staff were incredible, we asked for a room in a high floor with nice mountain views and they just upgraded us to a family room that exceeded our expectations: 4th floor, great mountain views, lots of space, large bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, super comfy bathrobes and slippers. Everything was very very clean, although you can feel the hotel is not brand new, but it has a lot of charm and you can see they've made an effort to bring it a bit to modernity. The breakfast was amazing, the best we have ever had in a mountain hotel, with A LOT of choice and amazing mountain views from the very calm and pleasant restaurant. It was fantastic to have the hotel baths open until 22h00, so nice to have a bath in the grotto and in the outdoor pool while stargazing! Also, the hotel is connected through underground corridors to the public baths and to the parking, which is super convenient. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing, with a lot of guests but you never felt like the restaurant or the baths were crowded. On the last day they, we were allowed to use the baths after returning from the snow in the evening, which was amazing to relax a bit before driving back home. All in all, an amazing stay in a great hotel, we will absolutely be back soon!!

Frankly we loved everything! The only issues/suggestions: - The first night we tried having showed around 22h00 when we arrived, and there was not very hot water. We called reception and they offered changing our room for the night, but we had already unpacked so preferred to stay. It must have been a small temporary failure because in the morning the water was hot again. - It would be nice to have a kettle in the room. - We would have loved if the hotel offered half board so we could have had dinner at their restaurant too or at some local restaurant that they had arranged dinner with, so we didn't have to search every day for dinner options when we are already exhausted after a fully-packed activity day in the snow.

We have been there 4 times. We love this location right in the center. We didn’t like the rooms they put us in at first as we thought we booked a certain building, and they were happy to change us to the building we preferred.

After we changed to the hotel de France, we were happy and had nothing to say we didn’t like.

I had a low cost room, mountain view (5 meters) at maison Blanche. 3 free Hotel pools are ok, not spectacular, but discount for Alpentherme just aside, which has plenty of facilities and offers. Everything a little old. Safe inoperational. Good breakfast, friendly service by foreign employees who do not all speak French or German. Overall very much worth the price !

The baths are fabulous, particularly the larger pools. the breakfast was good, and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. It is the perfect location with direct access to teh Alpentherms.

The facilities were limited. the sauna and steam area was closed. The lounge area was closed, meaning that there was nowhere to sit and chat or to get drinks in the evening. the rooms were poorly kitted, one room did not have electricity, our room did not have any lamps.

Awesome as usual, rooms were nice, spacious and with a good view. Beds were big. Staff got things tidy-up, were listening and available. Breakfast was good and there was variety. Indoor access to pools and even though there were some changes we've been granted availability without any extra. We've met 2 kind couples from Thailand and the only thing we regret was not keeping a contact.

When reserving we received a warning about works on pools not confirmed by the staff at the time, even contradicting. The indoor access was confusing at first even if there was a detailed first information by the reception. Just not so clear for outsiders. Some facilities weren't working like some access lifts reducing accessibility.

The swimming pools are amazing. The kids also enjoyed the variety at breakfast. Also, we enjoyed the proximity to the Torrent cablecars.

The rooms could do with an upgrade. Also, it would be nice for families to be able to have communicating rooms.

Breakfast was a pleasant experience and the thermal spa/pool was amazing, worth the money to spend time here

IT was very very confusing to reach the lobby for check in, there are no signs and we arrived late evening there was no one around and we were lost for 30mins. It is very hard trying to navigate the way as there are 3 hotels right next to each other and no information provided online/ emailed to customers before hand.

it’s very centrale of the town.great location to center and the thermal bad with underground access so no need to go outside.the housekeeping kept the room very clean and fresh towels everyday.we got an free upgrade to other room and omg great place with stunning views.breakfast is fantastic ,great choice of food from cold to cereal to hot food.all the staff from checking in,oit and during the stay were amazing and professional.very helpful to make your stay a great time and to feel you welcome .the pool outstanding also outside and to relax on the long chairs with to let the world goes by. it was a very pleasant holiday …….

nothing to say as the only things the bar was closed maybe for the outdoor pool and to see those 2 tennis court gone to nothing as a tennis player myself but it’s a holiday and maybe it was a must to have tennis court before .

Classy hotel with old-school charm. Family-friendly. Friendly, helpful staff and good customer service. Great breakfast. Good value thanks to in-house thermal baths. Stunning location.

The hotel pool and saunas were great. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was renovated and modern.

The bathroom had a couple items of rubbish left by a prior guest.
