great location and the staff were friendly . The facilities were great too. Loved swimming and sauna every day. Good value for money ( revamping everything would push the price up so I don’t mind the slightly older decor). Great size bathroom.

Bit noisy when people (staff even) talking from room to room in the afternoon. I get people have to communicate but I think conversations could be quieter and within rooms with doors closed. Also doors slam a little and noise vibrates through the walls . Could do with decoupling from frames if there is a refurb. The other thing that is a shame is that the lobby and bar/restaurant are disconnected . This makes the lobby small and also there is nowhere to sit comfortably read, work in the evenings. A first step would be to have some unset tables and offer simple bar snacks/drinks. I took my laptop/ book to a hotel down the road as I felt more comfortable there.

Friendly staff and great location. Very good view from the balcony and very spacious room and shower/ bath room.

Overall good experience and would recommend. The only odd thing is reception took card for guarantee for mini bar but there is no mini bar in the room. We were a bit confused but not a big deal.

Fantastic!! The pool is impressive with warm water at any time. Sauna open all day, I was impressed with the view of the entire hotel, not just the room, the best view from the breakfast room. The restaurant food is delicious, and all the staff are very friendly. Very very excellent all. The personal very beatiful and the room confortables. Another thing is that they have a shisha, that device to smoke with friends, I really didn't know it but it seemed very interesting and novel to me!!!

I really didn't like leaving, I wanted to enjoy that place a lot.

Wow! Where to start?! This is an incredibly warm welcomed and serviced hotel. I had stayed in a much more expensive hotel one minute away the previous night and was shocked at the difference of quality. Grichting surpassed all my expectations. The staff was amazing, the food in the restaurant was delicious (the menu was varied and interesting). The restaurant itself was cozy, very nicely decorated, clean and the staff/kitchen was able to handle special requests. The hotel room was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had an amazing view! Comfortable bed and a TV that actually worked like a TV should. Tea/coffee facilities were a delight, there was even a bottle opener in the room with a well-stocked minibar. Plenty of nice little things added! Even the hair dryer was better than in most hotels. See for yourself. The 24 hour pool and sauna were great, offering a moment of indulgence whenever you desire. Massages can be booked, unfortunately I did not have time to try that out.

The Pool!! What a bonus after a long day's hike. I didn't have the breakfast as CHF18 is very expensive when you just want a yoghurt and a cup of tea ;-) But my friends said it was excellent. Overnight parking at the Rathaus was rather expensive (CHF17) but being a pedestrian village, that's one of Leukerbad's problems. We were also given a bottle of wine on departure which was a nice touch.

It's a very small point, but the welcome drink voucher expired at 18h00. Why? Just when you finish a day's hike and want a drink, it expires!! But very nice lady behind the bar still served us at 18h15.

The location is perfect for those who want to go to Leukebad thermal baths. It is a 3 min walk. Rooms are small but cosy.

Great location. Very nice building. Nice (reasonable) spa area.

Hotel only has 1 parking spot with 15 min limit. Was blocked for whole night and morning. When asked at the reception, I was told ‘it is car of the boss’ - well Dear ‘Boss’ - if you only have one parking space, please dont block it during the check out times when people hope to be able to pick up their stuff. Maybe you could also walk those 2 minutes from the parking lot. But otherwise all great.

It's an amazing hotel from beginning of our stay to the end. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The view from balcony is just insane I couldn't recommend highly enough how good the hotel was. It has everything you need when you come with all kind of age kids. There is so much stuff to do not far away from hotel. I would definitely come back many times more. We where so sad to leave this place

Nice and cozy place, right in the centre of Leukerbad. Mountain and old town view. So close to Waliser Alpen Therms and 51 C thermals! Many restos around in the proximity. Clean rooms, with new bathroom equipment. Loved our convenient beds with orthopaedic mattress, good pillow and warm big blankets. Great that elevator is working to bring you and heavy luggage to the upper floor. We enjoyed varied and fresh food for breakfast and great atmosphere of the dining room with picturesque view, you can even look to mountains from your table via the telescope locate in the nearby room). When I needed to make couple of business calls, I had convenient place in the dedicated computer room. Fitness and SPA area looked nice!

We felt very welcome, we got a great room with an amazing view. Walking distance to the Thermen and restaurants. We would love to come back when the Pool from the hotel is open again!

We expected a little bit more from the breakfast.. we came also quiet late (9h20).. but if the breakfast is till 10h30 they should have bread and croissants etc.. was all finished when we arrived (luckily we found a girl who baked us one more bread, but we had to wait around the 20min).. maybe we have the change to come back another time and get a different view of the breakfast service. Further it was a great stay and we would love to return one day!
