Even though we had a late evening check in, the host was kind and came to great us outside, showed us the parking spot and prepared drinks in the bar/restaurant. We felt welcome. We also chat with the host during the breakfast/dinner time or on the nice sun terrace in the afternoon before our departure. Very nice traditional hotel, convenient location right next to the road Pontresina - Tirano. It is perfect either way you come by car or on the bus, the bus stop is just 50m above the hotel. Perfect place either to stop and sleep or eat when passing by or as we did for hiking in the mountains, such as Val da Camp. It is perhaps not the top modern one, but it is very cosy and the view from our room, from the chair on the balcony and from the restaurant was priceless! The room and the bathroom had all you could need and both were very clean. Breakfast was served directly at the table, and even though it was very rich on variety the staff was very attentive and regularly asked if we would like anything else. Also the dinner options were nice and tasty. We stayed by the end of July 2024 and we will definitely come back again.

We were a bit unsure of what to expect coming here because of the mixed reviews, but it was honestly a good experience. The rooms are nice, the bathroom is decently sized and very clean, the balcony had a great view both during the night and during the day. The restaurant had good food at a decent (not cheap, not expensive) price. Overall, the value for money was excellent. We stayed in places priced 3x more and not as nice.

Bed was a bit weird - it had an anti-stress sheet that made us uncomfortable (maybe because we weren't used to it?). Pillows really need to be harder - barely offered some support. Everything else was fine.

The location is amazing, especially in the winter . The gentleman is definition of hospitality, 4 foreign languages, happy to accomodate our requests, food is traditional amd delicious. The hotel is clean.

All the food was home produced and was truly excellent. The attention to detail was great and the service friendly and helpful. The view from our room was wonderful, it was quiet and peaceful.

They close the main door of hotel after evening. Do remember to ask for main door key.

Excellent dinner and breakfast. Not far from Ponteresina (bus stop to the start of Engading Marathon).

There is no Schuko socket in the room to charge a laptop.

I liked the view from the balcony, bathroom view, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good. The staff was very kind and helpful.

A family Inn near the valley. Nice view, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast. An ideal place to spend a cozy weekend.
