I always love to stay here but since the renovations it’s even better. I love to go to the sauna park and it’s nice that you offer the discounted all-day pass.

The only thing is that I had to catch a train and there was only one desk attendant and the other one was filing stuff so there was a group and I had to leave the key and go. I didn’t even get to sign the sauna park pass off my room and get confirmation that the rest of my deposit would be returned. Make sure to have a few staff there it’s really hard if you go by train to wait and wait.

Without a request, they gave as a room for wheelchairs access. Which means that a shower is not closing (only a courtain), so after a shower a bathroom was wet. Also, a washbasin area was much smaller than in usual room. We asked for a change of the room and next day we moved fortunately. Thanks! Good, diverse, breakfast. Helpful waiters in the restaurant. Restaurant open during the day (I guess between 12 till night, so we were able to eat at 16:00, which is very extraordinary in Switzerland). Thanks! Parking in a garage (costs about 24/day).

There is a renovation of the hotel at the moment. It will last until September/October 2023. It is a shame they did not inform about it at booking.com. So there is some noise during the day, but I would say it is not very noisy, but the entrance area is cluttered with materials, it is dusty, workers moving around etc. Not good for a stay with a kid currently. This time, a receptionist was not professional and informative. It was not our first stay here, so we knew everything, but without asking one wouldn't know there is some discount for a parking for guests or a discount for Aquabasilea.

A little bottle of water as a welcome drink in the rooms will be a plus . Design of the bathroom - water doesn’t flow easily when showering.

We have stayed at the Courtyard many times, and it is always perfect. They had a special attention for our son’s birthday, which was very thoughtful. They arranged spacious connecting rooms for our family. Friendly and helpful staff. Spotless facilities.

Restaurant service was a bit slow, but the staff was also very nice.

There could have been a few more teas and coffees and also real cups not paper cups in the room. But otherwise it was perfect.

Hotel clean, nice restaurant, staff polite. As expected from Marriot. Plus bonus for kids, the adjoined Aquapark. A huge Tesla charging station nearbay - great for my electric car.

There was a strange buzzing noise in the room, could have been the climate or the fridge, can't tell. But should not have been there. I did not investigate, because I was tired. Parking is extracost at 24 CHF/night, is not cheap.

On the day of departure, the housekeeping lady wanted to clean our room before we even checked out. She was quite persistent.

Breakfast was great, also the location of the hotel is super. On one side, next to water park and on the other side, 20 mins from Basel city by public transport, which is free during your stay

Beds could be improved. They were very rigid

Frankly speaking the upgrade to a bigger room. The room itself and all the facilities of the hotel were amazing. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good and what I’m expecting.

The room was very cold and it took some hours to heat it up to 22 degrees.

Capability to go to aquapark and back to room by any time is super convenient

I would like to switch off the ventilation totally to prevent any cold breeze that is blown on our small children.
