Modern, large and comfortable room. Ours had a kitchenette with a large fridge. Bathroom equally recent and equipped with large shower. Comfy beds. The room was quiet as it was in the internal part of the structure. The front-facing ones may be a bit nosier as in front of the train station. Shops and restaurants in the immediate surroundings at walking distance. Train station just in front.

Staff was helpful and they set-up a late check-in (21hrs). However very little staff around, also for breakfast and for check-out. It misses a bit of human touch. For us it was fine however, as it was only a stop over and facilities were spot on.

Basically liked everything! Large room w refrigerator and kitchen-ware, comfortable bed, practical bathroom. Good sound isolation. Fantastic breakfast with large variety (from early hours too!). Staff was very helpful with special wishes (e.g. printing), too. One of my best hotel-experience in its class.

Moskitos (September): not related to the Hotel at all, but a protection net in front of the windows may help. Parking: nearby free parking area was often full by the evening (as hotel was full too), so late arrival needed some extra search.

Location - very close (right opposite ) to the railway station. Cleanliness - Very neat and clean. Rooms - Very spacious, with all facilities. Overall an excellent property to stay while for work in BASEL or leisure in GRENZACH

This is a wonderful hotel in Grenzach, wit excelent location at 2 minutes from both train and bus and some restautants. The hotel is very clean, the room was so spacious, clean, warm, comfitable. The breakfast is excellent, the staff very polite and helpful. I highly recommend the hotel and the location of the place for traveling in the region.

The hotel was conveniently located on our way back. The owner was very kind to come in person and open the door (we arrived after 22h). The room was more than spacious, it looked more like a large studio with a fully equipped kitchnette. Spotless clean, very comfortable and pleasant. Excellent beds! Bathroom was decent-size, equipped with all one would expect. Breakfast was plentiful, with a large array of ham&salami, veggies, yoghurts, flakes, juices, breads. Definitely to be considered as a stopover for next time.

We stayed 1 night in 2 rooms on our way to Italy. The location is perfect in relation to the highways. The welcome was warm and the rooms are very clean. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette including a refrigerator. Several dining options within walking distance, including delicious pizza! The breakfast is very generous with hot and cold dishes. You can get bottled water at the reception. Very welcome with the warm weather. Neat hotel! We'll be back!

the staff was very accommodating. They allowed us to leave our luggage at the desk and pick it up that afternoon as we were going to the train station. They were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room was new and modern and spacious.

It's more a serviced studio flat than a hotel, and that's a good thing. Absolutely spotless and spacious room, bigger than most London studio flats! Well equipped kitchen if you fancy self catering, and very nice breakfast. Plenty of parking on site

Really nice, good hotel, located in the middle of nowhere:) big rooms, with a lot of space, high quality furniture and materials. Comfortable beds. Clean and tidy. Quiet location and quiet rooms. Really nice staff. You will be really surprised to find such a good hotel at this location. It is about 5-7 km from centre of Basel, easy ride with a car or buss.

Excellent room... Comfy mattresses... Very satisfactory breakfast... Secure private parking... Extremely polite staff... Recommended without any reservation.!
