A very friendly welcome “so glad you are here”, both in the hotel as in the restaurant. Great food in the restaurant with a lovely view, a lot of local guests. The staff are so kind and welcoming, we left very early to avoid Gotthard tunnel traffic and the staff made us a small breakfast to go when we left at 6 AM💚 Also first drink is on the house in the minibar 😉 Very quiet during the night. We will absolutely be back!

Only downside is no aircon in the room - even though it cooled down quite well in the night and there were mosquito screens for the open doors 👍🏻

Everything was great, we got what wanted and expected. Comfortable, very friendly staff (everyone), extremely friendly approach towards dogs, we stayed there with two. Very quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature. Perfect Location. We recommend this place to everyone.

If you're visiting the Basel region by car, this hotel is an absolute must. It offers an exceptional experience with incredibly helpful staff, a stunning and peaceful location, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, it's the perfect place to unwind and indulge in tranquillity.

Nothing to mention

This hotel is kind of secret gem in the Liestal area. You need to drive few kilometers away from the main roads to get there but in the end you are rewarded by the fabulous cuisine, cosy rooms and beautiful surrounding. Do not miss the dinner in one of hotel restaurants.

The breakfast was not bad but for the room price could be better. I really do not understand the idea of using these small glasses like it should save some drinks. In the end one has to get three time to the desk to drink.

Beautiful quiet setting, with nice garden and walks around.

It would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room, rather than in a kitchen on the second floor. Our room in the annex had a view of a concrete building.

The location is absolutely gorgeous, in the middle of nature and perfectly calm. The personal was helpful and friendly. Diner at the gourmet restaurant was impressive.

The bathroom of our suite was small an especially the bath and shower is not at the level. To enter and leave the shower is dangerous on the hight to the floor. Kind of fitness exercise.

As advertised, it is located more in the countryside so it’s actually good for R&R. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. It was very nice interacting with them.

everything it is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in. the staff were wonderful, the setting beautiful and the food at the rustic restaurant was excellent. Robert from the restaurant was our highlight- thank you for such a wonderful evening

Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit salad, great ham and good fresh products, with a great view on the garden. The location is very nice in the typical Swiss countryside near Liestal

The gourmet dishes (dinner) are very good, but there could be an alternative for lower budgets. There could be a free navette to the Liestal train station, at a usual fixed time in the morning (8am for example)

Amazing grounds and the surrounding area is superb for hiking and exploring.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable.
