The restaurant is authentic and wooden cozy space which feels amazing. Although the breakfast does come with limited options for such a Hotel but the quality of most products are really good. for example cheese and milk and range of breads seemed local. You are also asked for the omelette options which is nice ( It was the best eggs I had in a hotel). Also there is a buffet in each floor of the hotel with drinks and snacks which is free and was helpful as we checked in late and no restaurant was open in the area. The only things that I wish were better in the breakfast was the juice as it was not fresh. Also, during mid day, the smell of boiling red meat was all in the common area , but not in the room I must admit.

The room was near to perfect. I t was clean, spacious, nice lightening , good view over the street. Near to perfect because the double bed was two matresses next to each other over one double bed. the mattress was comfortable and nice but the line between could give u little back pain if you sleep in the middle. It also hard to keep two people on one side only. also although the washroom was soo nice and large, if I had a bathtub I would be happier..

Easy to reach by public transport. The hotel sent me a transport ticket in advance. Clean and friendly staff ready to help as much as possible. Good breakfast, peaceful location

I couldn’t have dinner because I had to book in advance and didn’t know. As long as you like planning it should be fine. The restaurant was fully booked that night.

Overall excellence; staff, cleanliness, accommodations, and the food (dinner and breakfast) was possibly the best we've had so far this trip. Exceptional! Even though we found it to be expensive, the hotel offered a lot of complimentary bottled water, beer, delicious extra sample with our dinner, and more. An impeccable place in a lovely village.

The food was amazing, the breakfast everyday was Bert good! The restaurant is SO good! Great cute place. Great amenities and friendly service!

You gotta break out of your habits and try new culture! I loved everything!

Clean, comfortable room and bed; curtious staff; fantastic breakfast; good-quality vanities (body lotion, shampoo, etc.); abundance of free parking on the street; free drinks on each floor. The place has a good vibe about it, and it's the second time we stay here. Good tram connection to Basel.

Nice position in the village

Breakfast was a bit slack no information on what was available on the second day l was asked if I would like eggs on toast for example.A toaster would have been helpful as my wife prefers toast.

Everything. Very smart hotel in a small town. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Easy underground parking. Lovely evening meal eaten outside. Very good selection for breakfast which we ate in the very atmospheric stubli. Staff extremely friendly and informative. Several very nice local cafes to have a beer etc.

Room was small but cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff very kind and helpful. The drinks on each floor were a bonus and so nice after a long day! Surrounding little town was so cute.

Rooms were a bit small but definitely doable for a couple days.

Staff were excellent and helped one of our party who had a broken arm (not at the hotel broken before we arrived) getting extra pillows and plugs etc

Could have been even better if there was air conditioning in the bedrooms

Staff always ready to help us anyway they could. Frquent public transportation nearby. Very clean. Free local beer. Very quiet.

Restaurant closes a bit too early for a mediterranean person :p
