We come back here every year during our regular visit in Basel. Perfect location very close to SBB. Very comfortable and easy with all administration staff.

Top location close to Basel SBB. We had booked an apartment and the check-in was at the Hostel reception right next door. Accessing the apartment was very convenient thereafter using digital keys. The apartment had all the facilities that are listed in the advert. You can also access the wash facilities in the hostel for a small price. Room Cleaning service is included in the price. Staff was super helpful and always ready to assist. I really enjoyed that there is a co-working space in the main building.

the WiFi was free but unsecure; the connection was really weak and kept disconnecting. It should be improved. the rooms are minimalistic and modern design which is great - leaves a lot of space for morning yoga in the living area. I only wish there were soft lights in each room for a relaxing atmosphere after a hectic day.

We loved the location and cleanliness. Considering that we booked a double room with a shared bathroom we were a bit sceptical but trusted the reviews. We were surprised by how clean and quiet the showers and toilets were every day of our stay. The kitchen also provides all the necessities for cooking, eating and storing. The cherry on top was the room downstairs, with a pool table, darts and football table. Overall, we were very satisfied. The hotel felt like a safe and friendly place to stay, and we can recommend it to others visiting Basel.

I wished the pillows were a bit bigger or we had an extra set. Also, a couple of more hooks or drawers for hanging the clothes in the room.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the Basel SBB. It was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom, which was a part of the hotel that was divided into rooms via a private corridor right next to the main building. The room had a pleasant architecture overlooking the inner courtyard. We left our luggage in the locker room because we arrived earlier than our check-in time. You can get a lock for a deposit. The staff at the reception were very polite. They gave us free BaselCards per person, which allows us to use free public transportation in Basel and has discounts at many museums. Thank you for everything. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

The location is great, close to the train station. The hotel has a nice futuristic feel. The doors open automatically most of the time. You don't get a key for your room, but a code. The receptionist lady was very kind and helped us with the registration and getting the free Baselcard (free public transportation from 00:01 of the day you check in until 23:59 of the day you check out). The shower and bathrooms were external, but very clean and pleasant. The bed was quite comfy. Downstairs there are plenty of social activities you can do, like board games and foosball.

We couldn't find any coat hangers in the room. It's not possible to buy alcohol at the train station after 22:00.

The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from the train station and a tram stop that takes you close to the old city. The room looked even better than in the pictures. It was perfectly clean, warm, and the towels were changed daily. The main building has a nice sit-in area with plenty of games to enjoy with friends. Downstairs, there’s a pool table, darts, and table football. We spent a lot of time playing pool and having fun. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and informative. We had a small issue in our room, but it was fixed right away after contacting reception. Highly recommend staying here!

Although the bathroom was shared, it was well-maintained and had all the necessary facilities, making it easy to use without any issues. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the train station and the city center, which made getting around very convenient. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option with great access to transportation and the main attractions, this is a solid choice. The fact that breakfast is an extra charge, even if not luxurious, is something to consider. The flexibility of bringing your own breakfast items to prepare is a nice advantage.

This was my third visit, and I booked again for several reasons: The Location: It’s within a short walking distance from the SBB/SCNF train station and situated in a nice, quiet neighborhood. There are many supermarkets and shops nearby, which is convenient if you’re staying for several days and have booked an apartment with cooking facilities or plan to use the shared kitchen. There are also plenty of bars, fast food options, and restaurants around, with even more choices at the nearby Tellplatz. The Ambience: The property offers a unique mix of hostel YMCA-style vibes, hotel amenities, and aparthotel convenience. You can choose from dormitory beds, single or double rooms, or apartments with a kitchen. Be sure to book early! The bar/café atmosphere is also fantastic. The Facilities: The rooms are sparkling clean and tidy, with minimalist decor, comfortable beds, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. The Staff: Last but certainly not least, the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you for making my stay enjoyable!

This time, I stayed in Apartment 301 in the adjacent building. The space was large and spacious, featuring a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. The bathroom was sparkling clean and well-lit, with a practical walk-in shower. However, there was one issue: no bedside lamp! While I appreciate minimalist decor, a bedside lamp is an essential addition for convenience.

Staff was amazing, they were really helpful. They told us that our room was ready at around 2 PM before the regular check in time, the lovely staff was very accommodating. They had a co working area where you can work and eat. Also, the room was very clean. The location was perfect as well, just 3-5 min walk from the main train station in Basel.

- Check out time is early, they ask you to check out at 10.30 but the check in time is 3 PM which is late. - There was no safe in the room, this would be a nice addition to the room. These are not dealbreakers however these points can be improved.

The room did not have any of the normal facilities of a hotel room ie no TV or kettle so you could make a cup of tea. As this property is multi purpose with both bunk and hotel rooms there is a kitchen available for guests to use to make a cup of tea, breakfast and other meals. Unfortunately the kitchen was at times very unkempt and lacked some of the basic facilities that you would normally find in a hostel kitchen such as breakfast bowls and spoons.
